I finally admitted to myself that I am addicted to Heroes Of The Storm.
>play first thing in the morning >play last thing at night >rarely socialize during the weekend >procrastinate over responsibilities >loss steaks become fits of rage that linger IRL >complain about bad teammates to friends >not even that good; mediocre at best
>addicted No, you just have no self control. There's a big difference.
Easton Scott
I found the new loot system to be addictive but when i played the game with people i found the stupidity of the playerbase overwhelming and just quit.
Thomas Reed
hey your addictions are not too bad.. i am addicted to: >alcohol >cigarettes >interracial porn (BLACKED) >fruit loops cereal
Caleb Anderson
>tfw played lots of strategy games as a kid/teenager >tfw now very strategic-minded
it worked out i guess
Jonathan King
play a real game like out of the park baseball you fucking pleb
Daniel Ross
> input time > receive dopamine release > generate revenue for someone else by using their product
It's all neurochemistry, you configure your brain to release chemicals like dopamine, the games you waste time on will become old and obsolete
The sick thing is the way society tricks people into thinking this is how you receive satisfaction, avoiding to teach alternative methods
Cooper Howard
Dota is a much better game imo.
Chase Campbell
But I thought Sup Forums told me video games aren't addictive
Levi Ward
I feel like getting addicted to Heroes of the Storm would be similar to getting addicted to punching yourself in the face, maybe that's just me tho
Juan Miller
addiction is just doing things over and over despite knowing its bad for you. video game addiction can be as jenky as opiate addiction. i can quit opis for a week but my skin crawls quitting vidya for a week yeeee you know whats up. i basically only play dota and an obscure russian dystopian roleplaying game that you need to know someone else who plays to be able to play. i got over 200 beastmaster games. i love that hero i quit hots my first game 10min in and uninstalled
you have an addiction find any general model for coping with an addiction and you'll come through, just have some self-discipline
Jackson Johnson
>play wow daily since 2009 >still get to fuck 8/10 girls >still have a social life >almost done with a 4 year college
Daniel White
If its addicting to do what you love then I assume anyone who works on their project car all weekend or goes to the range to shoot is also addicted to those things then?
Alexander Miller
I can't stop playing ss13
It's just perfect
Alexander Rogers
>Heroes Of The Storm. >>>/reddit/
John Rodriguez
don't play team games without friends
Joshua Brooks
>addicted to the worst shit tier excuse of a game Blizz has ever made just as an excuse to chip away at Riot >not addicted to WoW at any point before 4.0 Kys, and you are not and never will be my man
Landon Thomas
I was addicted to LoL back in 2012. I had no friends and used the team aspect of mobas to compensate. I tried to quit several times once I realized how much my grades were suffering and how many opportunities I was passing up, but I still was only able to kick it once my graphics card died and I was physically unable to play.
Not sure that can be considered a success, but I know where you've been, op
Connor Parker
You jest, but you're right. I've always gone back even though (or, especially when) having enraging loss streaks.
Luis Rivera
How the hell do you get addicted to video games anymore. Metro and MGS V were the only games I've even played in the last five years and even then, I only spent a weekend on each. Do they even make games worth playing anymore?
Colton Adams
I was addicted to video games once, but I played Crusader Kings II so much that I got tired and now I don't play anything. I'm cured.
Isaac Bennett
Addicted to rocket league even tho I'm shit. Got black market decal today tho.
