I refuse to believe that Sup Forums has become so moderate they don't care about this anymore. How many of us suported Trump to stop bullshit deals like this?

...

Don't expect the trump sycophants to recognize one of his failings. Obamacare needs to be straight up repealed and be done with it. The republicans are merely going to rebrand it with the GOP ownership instead. They'll take the fall for its failings and costs.

...

It honestly bullshit. They rebrand Obamacare, fix nothing, then theyll get blame for the death spiriral already in progress leading to and even more monstrous, tyrannical, and ineffective bill to "fix" it. Its a never ending march of stupidity towards complete government control.

Yeah and once the GOP take ownership then the democrats will inevitably at some point regain control of the government and force a single payer system on a country full of niggers and illegals. This country is dead.

Welp. Innawoods?

Why did Sup Forums abandon Ron Paul for an Orange Kike lover? Why didn't Sup Forums use their magic to get him in office?

just holding out hope for an economic collapse where we'll get a chance to rebuild civilization again. Probably not in our lifetimes though, we get to helplessly watch as everything crumbles down in slow motion.

initially? desire to burn down the GOPe and progressives for fucking over Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012. Then the newfags moved in and perpetuated it without understanding why. Least thats my theory

thats was my idea. Society gonna crumble so better make sure to a make it through. I wish there was more we could do. I hope there's enough left after its over to rebuild with though.

...

Paul is old news, and hes the only reason registered R. Its either this or complete dominance by Progressive Globalists and then all those 2012 greentexts about privilege checking would come true

I'm somewhat of a new and I'm not libertarian, but Ron Paul is my favorite politician. Hes the most honest people that ever had a political position. I want to know more about him.

what would you like to know?

Is there even one congressman who has advocated simply repealing these shit healthcare bills and never looking back? Not even Rand I don't think has had the balls to do that. Everyone who go coverage under Obamacare would have been covered under medicaid more or less. You can't really lose if you just repeal it, it's not like Obamacare was drastically better than our system under medicaid alone so liberals and the kike media can whine all day but they wouldn't be able to solidly claim that people are any worse off.

Rand is giving a half ass protest. Hope he sticks with it.

Have you read the bill OP?
What does it say?
Are you larping with leftie talking points?

How about the Freedumb Caucus can either propose a bill or shut the fuck up?

I love how they ran on repealing the bill, even went through all the motions under Obama and sent the bill to his desk. They finally win a presidency and a majority everywhere and then lose the balls to do what needs to be done. This country deserves the hell hole its becoming.

>wanting a full repeal and replace with a free market solution is a lefty talking point

k. Tell me other than alowing across state competition of insurance companies what improvements does this bill have?

I have no idea. I haven't read it. Have you?

not the whole 142 pages. Im still working through it. you know nothing about it than yet accuse me of spounting lefty talking points?

>everyone who got coverage under obamacare would get it through Medicaid

This isn't even close to accurate
The mandate pushed a lot of people into the market

>do what needs to be done

I work in healthcare finance, if the repeal goes through the industry is pretty fucked, especially rural healthcare
We're getting so many offers to buy up private practices because reimbursement sucks for everyone who isn't in a nice area. The practices and hospitals in rural America will be stretched to their breaking point from Medicaid cuts, it's not just people losing coverage it's practices and hospitals closing because they can't make ends meet, it's jobs lost. And for what? Premiums aren't going down. Is a small tax break worth taking a shit on rural hospitals everywhere?

You repeated pretty much everything the dem on CableNews said this morning, hence the accusation. I do find it odd that people are freaking out over it without knowing what it really says. All I've heard has come from the (((MSM))) and I don't trust them, nor do I have a vote on this one. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens

The industry is fucked because of obamacare, let the free market fix the problem and remove the regulations and monopolies currently guaranteed to the corporations. This includes problems with drug companies and drug testing and pricing. Ripping a band-aid off hurts but it's gotta be done at some point and continuing to prop up an entire industry on the backs of the shrinking middle class is ridiculous.

you shouldn't trust them either. They're bitching becuase they think this is dismatling obamacare. Im bitching becuase it doesn't. I buy the whole "any bill is better than no bill" when the bill the propose changes nothing and only acomblishes shifting the blame to conservatives as soon as goverment run healthcare inevitability fails

I dont buy*

Yep because letting old veterans and the disabled die rather than shifting taxes to the Jews is so very American. Try being a part of your nation and not a festering hole in it.

>It's american to be socialist
Actually no it's not, you're not hurting the "Jews" by raising taxes they'll always get their money. They'll just pass the costs down to you.

Do you work in the industry? The ACA is not the problem with the industry, the industry is the problem with the industry

The whole thing is fucked because it wasn't done right the first time around and we've been going on too long with a broken system to be able to fix it easily. "Letting the market fix it" is bullshit, all they will do is raise premiums to cover their bottom lines when Medicaid dries up and this patients go to the ER uninsured instead. I don't think people like you understand that we pay for those people anyways, with Medicaid cuts it shifts the burden hard on hospitals who then jack up prices which gets passed on to you, the presumably taxpaying and insured individual in the form of higher premiums. Oh, but two hundred bucks you saved on your taxes was totally worth it. Right.

Truth is single payer is the only thing that will really work. It's the only thing that would actually lower premiums for people because we'd have a single massive risk pool with all the bargaining power in the world. No more would rates vary wildly for the same service for the same patient - things would be far easier on providers too. The industry would contract a little at first but if we have to rip off a bandaid as you say then let's leave something behind that's worth the pain instead of banking on industry to not be shortsighted for once.

Kek

yea having premiums so high now that going the doctor is out of the question but hey atleast everyone has insurance now! who care is big pharma and hospitals have a goverment madated monopoly too? atleast you get to give away other peoples money and feel good about ourselve like you actually care about the well being of others.

it was great (not perfect) until the nixons hmo scheme. the more the goverments got involved the more quality has dropped and prices have gone up.

>the industry is the problem with the industry
>it wasn't done right the first time

The welfare state is the problem with the industry, the government undercuts the freemarket leading to smaller practices and companies being forced out or bought up by the companies able to handle the govt regulations imposed on them. Eventually even those corporations start failing so they raise prices until the people cry out and then government starts subsidizing them to make up for their losses in a vain attempt to keep the prices lower. Eventually even that fails so the government just pushes a socialized single payer solution where you force a certain class of people to pay for everyone because you can't keep the remaining corporations profitable. So instead of killing the welfare state your solution is to tax more and spend more or merely go to singlepayer and kill the market completely. It's delusional that you think that a country with 40% welfare class and a budget with 54% military spending can sustain a socialized healthcare system. Instead of creating an environment free of handouts and an environment full of options and competition where living healthy and being insured BEFORE you need it is rewarded you're just putting everything into a death spiral that ends in rationing and lines no different than what you see in the VA.

...

Ron Paul is such a kind fellow. He's definitely /myguy/.

The problem is that the government keeps sticking their dick in but won't finish. They've had so many chances to do single payer and all the halfassing has made it worse

The economics of single payer are far more sustainable than those of our current system. There are too many real world examples to not be aware of it but you don't seem to really understand the problem beyond "muh handouts." Honestly if you think Medicare and Medicaid's low reimbursement is "undercutting" private industry then you fundamentally misunderstand how the industry works. Nobody wants Medicaid patients because you get paid half as much for the same service, to the point where you actually lose money doing some services. But if you cut those people's funding then most services become a net loss to provide, the system collapses. I wonder how rural America will vote in 2018 and 2020 when they find out who took their parents healthcare and caused the local hospital to shut down...

>free market
>solutions

Trump just wants a legislative victory so he can brag about it on twitter, he doesn't give a shit what that victory actually is. He wants to get healthcare over with as fast as possible so he can move onto sucking Israel's cock some more while giving Saudi Arabia more money and then saying he can't afford the wall.

Only solution commie-ism has is to make everyone poor.
