Is this a big deal? No, not particularly, but this type of exchange, this type of anti-white sentiment seems to be slowly but surely becoming socially acceptable. I am not bothered by it at all to be honest. What bothers me most is the double-standards, the hypocrisy. This is a high profile televised fight and yet no one is talking about the incident. Imagine if a white fighter said the equivalent racially charged comments towards a POC.
Will there be riots or protests over this? Will the mainstream media cover this? Will there be a 4-part miniseries on the growing tide of anti-whitism? Or will this quietly get swept under the rug like all racism against white people is?
