In your examples, however, while it's true the rhetoric often includes statistics and economic consequences, I think this is simply political persuasion to cover for the deeper held convictions of "people have to be responsible for their own economic well-being," "we as a people have a right to exclude Others," and "government-mandated minimum wages are immoral," although on the issue of minimum wage I'll give you that I'd admit the conservative position is probably more outcome-based generally, but I'd say here we start to get into problems of the varying interests and ideological groups making up the Republican party, and would say being anti-raising-the-minimum-wage is the result of a techno-utilitarian business class who don't care about the convictions I was talking about anyway, including birth control and abstinence.

They should also choose a career early and their choices should be based off of IQ to prevent needless college debt if they are unlikely to graduate with a meaningful degree. Classes should be segregated based on IQ. This system is currently designed to benefit government employees, not children or the public.

I don't think birth control should be free to the public because the pay wall creates an incentive for proper use of the contraceptives. Contraceptives are for purely sexual purposes. If there is a medical reason for hormonal contraceptives like extremely painful menstruation, then it should be covered.
We still don't know if there are long-term ramifications for hormonal birth control pills. They can really fuck women up, especially if they miss a day or double down on meds to make up for missed dosages.
