what is with the huge obsession with genetic tests and purity? i know some get them for health reasons and whatnot but why does it make a difference if you are 99% white and 1% black
is it just a dick waving contest to see who is the whitest or do all of you actually take the racial purity that serious. to me it shouldn't matter if you are .1 to 5% if you are white you are white if you are black you are black. whats the deal?

I am curious about my ancestry, which is not documented in the agnatic or enatic lines before 1700, Clearly my family and I are mostly British, but there are family stories of great and great-great grandparents that are fairly dubious.
I may have some Polish. I may have some Russian Jew. The earliest known members of my family were from the border of England/Cornwall/Wales so I may be Brythonic or Germanic.
Being interested in your heritage doesn't automatically make you a Nazi, Klansmen, or eugenicist. It's good to know your history. We are all standing on the shoulders of giants, whose achievements were made possible a never ending army of subsistence farmers and other little folk like my ancestors.

They're actually really useful. I was under the impression that I was white with some jewish and native american admixture. Took a 23andme test and apparently I'm 0% jewish or native american, but 0.2% black instead (which falls in the range of a test error i guess but still). Now I know that my cheapness is just a personality trait not my inner kike coming out.

If you are European why would you have even 0.00001% of the DNA from another continent? If you don't have a whole European genome then you are only ever going to be part European at best.

It makes zero sense that my mom is 1% African. Where did the black guy even come from? It'd be impossible that it happened in America, 10 generations with 1 African does not make it 1%, it makes it around 5%.
I personally think it's bullshit. Not to mention now her genetic code is in some database. At least we all found out her father isn't her actual biological father.

i have no proof of my dads claims other than I have native dna. can not trust family tree cause of cheating and many unregistered adoptions years ago. back in those times, many places on the coast, lots of traveling, lots of people my ancestors could have fucked without telling their spouse. I just wanted to see if I had any native dna
