Why don't we just run simulations akin to SimCity but with nations to prove which ideology is objectively the best? Wouldn't that end any unnecessary political debate? Also it would be fun to see how a communist nation would go to shit in real time.

Go pitch SimNations to EA then

It was called the Cold War

Victoria 2

Civilization VI

Do the same with economics and fuck those annoying Keynesians off!

I don't mean games, I mean actual simulations not with the intention to play them but to observe what happens under a certain ideology that would be useful for politics in the real world.

There is no agreement on how you define "best". Best for the makers is to keep their money, best for the takers is to suck more blood, best for marxists is to replace their own people with outsiders as a form of genocide. In high-iq societies most people are makers, in low-iq countries almost everyone are takers.

this is what life is like under cummunism

Whenever I play Civ I'm always fascist and I always win via domination.

reminder this fate is what Jews want for you and your family

That is Cities:Skylines not Simcity...just sayin...

Nope, that's not Cities: Skylines.

Because there would be natural bias on account of the people running the simulation. That or we would have to build human intelligence entirely from scratch in order to get a good result.

you are correct, my mistake

There was a guy trying to run a communistic system in Cities: Skylines and the city failed

Ironically he blamed the programmers, just because they did a good job building realistic algorythms

I agree. cut up some sections of fly over country and beta test some libertarian, commie, nat soc societies etc. Would be really funny to see the commies and black civilizations starve and collapse.

>Why don't we just run simulations akin to SimCity but with nations to prove which ideology is objectively the best?
You wouldn't like the results most likely
>Wouldn't that end any unnecessary political debate?
No, people are diverse, not every system can be applied to everyone
>Also it would be fun to see how a communist nation would go to shit in real time.
That already happens in real time

how did he do that? Can you tell how it worked out exactly?

Sauce? I usually give people free public transportation but that's about it.

???

We barely managed to create an unbeatable Go player, and you want to model society?

Sure, let me create a github repo.

Every time I play one of the Tropico games I push capitalism and freedom as hard as I can and the game becomes super no effort easy. Tons of money, always win elections, etc.

>There was a guy trying to run a communistic system in Cities: Skylines
Impossible. That game doesn't allow public ownership of the means of production.

Don't worry, the singularity is coming soon.

literally this

New plot twist for lefties. Pretending you are leftcuck and tell them you play *insert random economical simulation* and build Communism Utopia. Make them watch via live stream. Show them it doesnt work. Build a real Utopia afterwards.

dont forget to pick up the salt

True, but you can try to implement some things like not importing goods and taxing the shit out of businesses. If you do this however, your city fails.

I call bullshit that game does not allow for any kind of serious political agenda.
Source or you are gayer than OP

Results in it wasn't real gommunism

Aww thats not nice

I think thats what we are

ha children.....

For making a reliable state simulator u just had to input a fuckton of human subjective variables relating to economy, politics, societies and much more.
For example, society's level of education, %of the rulers of being authoritarian, state failure index and a long etcetera. That would be a pain in the ass to program.

>see how a communist nation would go to sit in real time

You mean like russia and cuba and china?

...

The irony in this is communism would simulate well without the individuality of actors.

...

Not possible, people is stupid in a complex and nonlinear way

How old are you?

>accurately simulating the human factor
Good fucking luck.

this is correct. It's actually been my dream to do what OP is describing for over 10 years. It's why I got Bachelor's Degrees in both Economics and Computer Science. Still, before we can even start we need a ground-up model of human nature; otherwise you can build the "ideal" system in your simulation only to find that real humans find it intolerable and chimp out or refuse to work.

which one accurately simulates the behavior of nigs?

>Why don't we just run simulations
Who writes the "simulations"?
Communism has a real world success rate of zero. Can we save the money on the simulation and just accept that communism is one ideology that doesn't work?

I'm sure the elites already have ran a simulation to see when they need to go into those fallout bunkers.

because coders have political beliefs too

The problem with this idea is that gray and black infrastructure and bureaucracy exists in every country at different levels and frequencies. Iraq, Lichtenstein, and Canada are all democracies, but how they actually function varies. Cuba, best Korea, and Venezuela are all Socialist states, but their separate cultures dictate their success or failure more than their governance.
