Im not racist, and Im fairly left wing on all issues. I also strongly believe in sovereignty, borders, and my opinion on immigration policies largely depends on the immigrants themselves and the cultures they hail from.

Today I was talking to my fiancees father about the G20 summit. He was watching CNN. He actually dislikes CNN quite a bit, so do I, but he really hates Trump so he basically just watches all the time because he likes to laugh at Trump. We then started talking about North Korea, and I was talking about how several months ago I predicted that North Korea would have ICBM's very soon. He said that the best thing for the people of the planet would be if there was a single world government. He said nationalism is the worst thing to happen, and that nationalism just puts us on the path to destruction. He said we needed a worldwide single government that would look over all the nukes and all countries so that we'd not only be safer but we would become more peaceful as we get rid of nationalism, etc. Hes Jewish, so this was surprising to me.

I respect and love my fiancees family, they've always been good to me, and I think hes a great person, but I just disagree with that completely. I thought that was a meme, that most people didnt actually believe we should have no borders and we should have a global government. I thought it was just radical idiot leftists that believed that stuff.

And Ive started to notice some things lately, that a lot of actors on the world stage have seemingly been ramping up their rhetoric. Like North Korea with nukes and ICBMs, Russia meddling in everyones elections, Brexit being a huge mistake, etc. And Ive also noticed other things, like the recent proposal in the USA to create a sixth branch of armed forces name "Space Corps", like we may soon be facing some sort of extra-terrestial threat.

What is the likely hood that these (and more to come) are all meant to slowly convince the populace that a World Government is necassary?

shut up french speaking fuck

Did you ask him what would happen to Israel under a hypothetical one government borderless world?

Because you should have.

The only goal of a "one world government" is a singular global (private) central bank.

Different cultures and different societies should be governed by different groups of people. I wouldn't want Iceland and Saudi Arabia to be ruled by the same person. Nobody would actually. It's a cute idea in theory but not in reality.

Leaf us alone.

>I'm not racist
FUCKING DROPPED

Idealism vs Realism

Best to choose now kid.

Either humanity can be divided forever or we can unite.

No borders is meme, largely pushed by people who are very ignorant of international affairs and the realities of human trafficking, international militant groups, and economic migration.

One world government is the dream of every person who looks at the resources that humanity has wasted in petty conflicts to be king of the hill.

If it weren't for war, tribalism, and our insatiable thirst for victory, humanity would have colonized Mars thousands of years ago.

...

he sounds nice

just realised he's a fucking kike

>Brexit being a huge mistake

Russia did not meddle in the election

But this is the rhetoric, correct? This is the narrative the media is pushing. Thats my point. You understand this, yes?

A world government is inevitable in the future. But after the system has been colonized, divisions will prop up again throughout humanity. I think the elite are trying to establish what tin-foiler(s) call the NWO. But they're doing it 200-300 years too early. We'll all be dead by the time the UN rules us all.

Know the story of the Tower of Babel? It's an ancient religious criticism against one world governments. A government follows one single ideology. What would it be in this case? Capitalism? Socialism? Communism? Facism? If everybody follows the same tune it always leads into a catastrophe and hybris. People are different and it's a God given right to stay independet.

> Is a sense of national pride alien to us, Great-Russian class-conscious proletarians? Certainly not! We love our language and our country, and we are doing our very utmost to raise her toiling masses (i.e., nine-tenths of her population) to the level of a democratic and socialist consciousness. To us it is most painful to see and feel the outrages, the oppression and the humiliation our fair country suffers at the hands of the tsar’s butchers, the nobles and the capitalists. We take pride in the resistance to these outrages put up from our midst, from the Great Russians; in that midst having produced Radishchev,[3] the Decembrists[4] and the revolutionary commoners of the seventies[5]; in the Great-Russian working class having created, in 1905, a mighty revolutionary party of the masses; and in the Great-Russian peasantry having begun to turn towards democracy and set about overthrowing the clergy and the landed proprietors.

Never read Genesis, huh? It's pretty boring desu

It isn't. You just aren't thinking about those texts enough.

Are you? God is pretty up front that the division of humanity is a punishment for trying to build a literal tower to heaven.

There's this recurring theme that humanity gets more and more divided as a direct result of disappointment God up until God creates the chosen people because fuck the rest of us poor miserable sinners.

>because fuck the rest of us poor miserable sinners.

What is the New Testament? What is lumen gentium?

If you think the "chosen people" were anything but a thorn in God's side, and suffered as a result, you weren't reading close enough. John and Paul were in relative agreement (despite never having met), and even in Acts, that the Jews were rejecting Christ because the rejected God, and the promise of the covenant was based on faith and not blood. The "chosen people" forfeited their claim.

Maybe try working from the Pentateuch alone when trying to divine what its authors meant?

I mean, I could use the Book of Mormon to point out the problems in your interpretation, but you'd just say that's bullshit that has nothing to do with the story.

Oh, you mean the Pentateuch that contains "boring" Genesis?

You're really not pulling any punches in your exegesis, huh? Really redefining theology here, redditbros.

That's why i used the term "lumen gentium".
Also, your statement here:
>because fuck the rest of us poor miserable sinners.
It already interprets the Bible from it's back, since it assumes that sinners go to hell and are outside of the "chosen people" of Isreal. God creating a covenant with the Jews comes after the story of the Tower of Babel. The text is sufficiently a criticism on a single government idea and ideological homogenity if you consider the historical context.

That gif is too long

Yeah, I don't make serious arguments that start with "because fuck".

Lumen gentium, jeez lol.

the only reason people object to a world goverment is because other people aren't like us. If a single race(whites ofc) won tommorow, wouldn't they "easily" agree to a world gov?

Well, the story complements the logic of the Bible which takes historical inspiration and interprets them as a anthropological constant state.
Also: no Jew would tell you that simply by being a Jew you are already saved.

This is why Christianity is slowly going extinct. And needed violence to sustain itself this long.

You're not incorrect, but the reality will likely be the opposite of what I suspect you are implying.

>single world government

Germans are already sending us garbage for the same price they sell quality to their own. We are their neighbors. How much do you think they would give a shit about Kunta Kinte from bumfuck nowhere?
