States with the most amenable/flexible weapon purchase, transfer, carry, and transaction laws?
trying to get my hands on a simple .45 semi-auto or a single fire .308.

The state which you reside in is the state who's laws apply to you

Going to another state doesn't change anything. If you purchase a gun out of state, it has to be shipped to a FFL in your home state before you can take possession legally

>legally

Okay then, just pretend i reside in that state, then answer the original question.

bump

Most states purchase laws are basically the same as federal laws, just avoid the obviously cucked ones. Carrying? Again, just avoid cucked states.

they do ask for a state photo ID, ssn, dob, and all that stuff to do the electronic check. It's harder than applying for a job.

unless it is a long-rifle

shouldn't this be on /k/

Texas. Mississippi dose't need open carry permit.

hand guns and form 4 guns are always a hassle.

OP you strike me as the kind of person who should learn more about guns first.

It's ridiculously easy to do what you want except in really faggoty states. And that's not counting private sales.

the best thing to do is live in your state, do a private sell/ build your own and never register the gun.

Whatever state you're in will be easier to get what you want, legally or otherwise, than to travel and (illegally) void those laws.

Physics, biology, and learning are my bag baby.

Okay, let's say i buy a .308 FN FAL or m4 ar illegally, in a different state,
What parts, assembled or not, if i got caught with in my possession, would get me locked up?

You need to check your state law m8. Googling for a faq or finding a forum with a section dedicated to your state is going to get you further than being vague on Sup Forums.

Or if you're not scared of people call or go in person to a local store that sells guns and ask them. They'll probably also be able to help you out with where to go shooting, get some training, etc.

Is there anything you can tell me about guns when it comes to possessing and transporting them state to state if they're disassembled or completely non-functional?
or should i just start using Sup Forums for only porn?

Again depends on the state. I don't even know off hand what if any restrictions there are on that in my state. I do know that I allowed to have a gun in my car (unloaded) without a CCW if I'm transporting it back home or to a place that I'm going to use it.

>trying to get my hands on a simple .45 semi-auto or a single fire .308.
That should be easy in nearly all of the states. Don't do illegal nigger shit, you can get it legally in your home state.

Im in a weird situation

and das racist

Want to tell us what your situation is? It really sounds like you're up to something shady or irresponsible.

I'm pretty much of the reason the 2nd amendment was set,
i would get my life together and do things right, but im being targeted, stalked and conspired against, constantly being kicked down because of i wont forgive somebody for something im not even %100 aware of, all in southern california.

Mmm. Well CA isn't exactly known for having the best gun laws in the state. I'm not familiar with them, but that'd definitely be I would double-check if I were you.

I just heard Tom Lackavara plead guilty to 1 count of felony firearm possession this morning in Oregon, which carries 1 year minimum in prison. He'll be sitting in jail for another 3 months before even being sentenced. Generally if you get caught violating gun laws you are in danger of getting bad treatment.

Tom I don't think will be able to vote or legally own a firearm from now on, as well as other things. I'm not sure if he might be able to get it expunged at some point in the future and return to the status of not being a felon.

>southern california
You're fucked. If you're criminal record is clear, you can still try legally

>still try legally
This, really. I mean I don't see why this would be a problem for you, and I presume you could quite easily go see the redwoods or something if you'd rather buy a gun somewhere where you're less likely to be stalked.

The worst that happens is they politely tell you that you didn't pass the NICS check and they can't sell you a gun.

s'okay i know how to read, research and use big words,
I also fancy myself an international spy.

im most likely going to get thrown away anyway if i don't do something.

>money
no money or job

>id, drivers license, or birth certificate
nothing

>ability to apply for an easy part time job
crippled

redwoods?

sounds like youre trying to obtain a firearm illegally. youre either a felon or a nigger.

okay

Oy vey. You're not Richard H. Carlson are you?

But unless CA has faggy loss about private sales, you should be able to get one at a gun show without going through a NICS check.

If you've never seen the redwood forests in nocal you're missing out. They're pretty amazing, and there's nothing like touching something that's been alive there for that long.

What do the redwoods have to do with obtaining a gun?

nevermind, i understand.

This guys a fucking larper.

It's whichever piece is the firing mechanism that is illegal. If you can have it shipped to your door, it's legal. Not a difficult concept.

ITT: OP is a faggot larper

Im a dificult person

Yeah but you don't seem to have gotten the hint from what he said, whether he meant to hint at a certain very popular and legal option or not.

If you're going to be a gun owner you really should take the time to learn more about it so that you don't wind up doing something regrettable for you or for anybody else.

There is no situation i can guess or imagine that you can give in which i could fuck up at legally or illegally possessing a bang shooty thingy.

You can legally build three guns per year. Various DIY kits exist for a variety of weapons platforms from which one may produce functional art in ordnance. Start with buying a lock, stock and barrel.
You're welcome!

I dunno m8. You sound generally unstable, like you don't know what you're doing, and you already were concerned that you might get in trouble for transporting one across state lines.

If you want you can quiz me on gun safety in regards of who and who not to point it at, as well as handling it.

I'm not particularly interested in doing so and I'm not familiar with what CA law (or even possible additions from your own county or city). I'm just pointing out that you've come here to find out more about the law, so it's absurd to claim that you can't imagine breaking laws you don't know about.

After moving out of my home state and deciding it was high time I got a gun, the first thing I did was go hit the state website to read through the relevant sections on gun law and self defense.
