I wish we could get our -bergs to leave, too

The prophecy is real

Accusing people of "saying global warming isn't real" is just like accusing people of "saying the holocaust never happened." It's a strawman intended to discredit before any actual consideration comes into play.

"Global warming deniers" aren't saying the Earth is not getting hotter (unless they're shills). They're saying that there is no evidence for the increase in Earth's temperature being a result of increased C02 produced by human activity.

hey shill why was there 5x the amount of CO2 during the cretaceous period, you know when there was no deserts and the entire planet was a jungle including Antarctica, so why is that a bad thing. We would have enough land to feed 50 billion people if that happened.

>its almost as if icebergs have been breaking off the ice caps ever since the oceans been around

you're retarded

brexit

ur late

Read this OP:
yahoo.com/news/apos-ve-studied-larsen-c-094343970.html

Summary:
>his event has also been widely but over-simplistically linked to climate change. This is not surprising because notable changes in the earth’s glaciers and ice sheets are normally associated with rising environmental temperatures. The collapses of Larsen A and B have previously been linked to regional warming, and the iceberg calving will leave Larsen C at its most retreated position in records going back over a hundred years.

>However, in satellite images from the 1980s, the rift was already clearly a long-established feature, and there is no direct evidence to link its recent growth to either atmospheric warming, which is not felt deep enough within the ice shelf, or ocean warming, which is an unlikely source of change given that most of Larsen C has recently been thickening. It is probably too early to blame this event directly on human-generated climate change.

that was a false reading of the prophecy which doesn't correlate to the timeline

lol ok then yeah you're right it's this bit of ice

>Implying Sup Forums can into climatology

...

When you know there is no news.

Did you expect that fucking iceberg to stay in place for all eternity? Shit's gonna move sooner or later.

TIME magazine is not a climate science authority. nature.com/nclimate/index.html

I think we all know who is responsible.

So no tweets from Trump today then?

>(((iceberg)))

nice try

>87% of Americans are unaware of a scientific consensus on global warming
But seriously though, lib here, just read an AP article that said it wasn't a climate change specifically.
Scientists say massive iceberg has broken off in Antarctica: apnews.com/beb1dcea5e3145edbf811fa9cf77d5d2

are these faggots going to try to push regluations against meteors too?
>sudden spike of meteors
>its because global warming, we dont have a strong atmosphere to burn off the meteors before they land
>destroy all factories and power plants
>bullshit scientists celebrate as 4mm of extra meteors burn off

Who cares?

Sup Forums IS BEING SPAMMED WITH ICEBERG THREADS

kek
well played

its all over the site. iceberg threads for global warming, then the net neutrality threads, the trump going to prison threads, and macron = based threads. shareblue is hard at work right now

Even if that were true, shouldn't we be doing everything we can to avoid having our civilization destroyed by climate change? Instead we're continuing to rely on pollutant forms of energy generation and doing the bare minimum to fight the change.

Whether humans did it or not, we're still fucked as a species unless we act.
