There is no scientific concensus as of right now on whether this is a natural process or due to climate change. Either way this ice shelf was already in the water and simply broke off the other day so it caused no increase in global ocean levels (imagine an ice cube in a glass of water). I'm not a climate change denier but this specific case is still to be determined.
