How again can a non-fiat currency work?

All the fucking gold out there is worth less than 30% of the existing US M3 monetary supply.

Sure, you could hike the gold price up by 2000%, but wouldn't that be a gigantic distribution effect from those who do not own gold to those who own gold?

Your mistake is assuming that fiat "money" is worth anything in the first place.

>Your mistake is assuming that fiat "money" is worth anything in the first place.

Fiat money is backed by tax revenues. It is a bit like a publicly traded corporation. Think about the shares which are traded as the money bills a government prints. A corporation has a certain revenue each year and the shares are worth whatever investors believe the revenue stream will be in the future. Same for a currency. A currency tanks if people think the revenue stream will go down (and the currency will be virtually worthless in case of a country ending up bankrupt).

ya'll need to watch money masters.

fiat is bad in the hands of usurers, but properly used by a monarch or senate.

central banks are accumulating gold. Middle class people in Asia are accumulating gold. The only people with no gold are Americans following the "gold is a barbarous relic" maymay. The real redpill is that globalization will continue by decimating the American middle class which will bring living standards closer globally. This will be done through a return to the gold standard

You cannot eat gold.

Given the coming collapse of society, stocking up on long lasting food and guns makes more sense than buying gold.

Americans are the biggest prepers in this world. They will survive the apocalypse.

You're a retard.
>I can't eat something so it has no value
Kill yourself

>M3 monetary supply.
Please define monetary supply because that shit is tricky af.

US definitions

M0 and M1, also called narrow money, normally include coins and notes in circulation and other money equivalents that are easily convertible into cash.

M2 includes M1 plus short-term time deposits in banks and 24-hour money market funds.

M3 includes M2 plus longer-term time deposits and money market funds with more than 24-hour maturity.

M4 includes M3 plus other deposits.

when asteroid mining takes off it'll be platium and palladium that will be the solar system currency

Crypto currencies alongside precious metals or representative money so you don't have to carry the metals around.

Fiat has no value, taxation is theft, inflation is slavery

Gold is Jewish garbage.

That is why they call it jewelry.

Read the creature from Jekyll Island. I disagree that fiat can be good. I will watch the video and maybe my position will be changed, but I don't imagine it will.

All currency is fiat currency. Gold does not have any innate value. There is not any law of nature decrying that a gold brick should be worth some amount of cash. It's all speculativ market as much as diamond one is.
Shit is worth only as much as someone is willing to buy it for.

This guy gets it

You both have a point, but having stores of gold and not being sustainable/able to protect your wares also isn't a good strategy. Buy guns, food, gold, silver and cryptos

Put a spend by date on money.
Boost the economy & stop money stockpiling by rich greedy bastards

Japanese unit of currency was the koku. Enough rice to feed a man for a year.

>Fiat is the problem
>not usury
Good goy.

>You cannot eat gold.
Can you eat fiat money?

Won't buy bitcoin until it hits $10,000. Don't even know there's 900+ other blockchains. Missing out on the dot-com bubble, again. Can't save your race if you're broke.
