Why did the Tea Party implode and turn into a joke so quickly after it began? It was supposed to be a third-party alternative to the Democrats and Republicans, but instead, its supporters suddenly went hardcore pro-neocon/globalist and poured money into candidates like Marco Rubio - why?

just grassroots adapting. it was a losing strategy in 2012. gotta keep on your toes and keep them guessing.

>tea party
>marco jewbio and the neocohens

The Tea Party and the Libertarian Party need to be taken over by a populist / nationalist and turned into something new

Because dipshits wanted to remake the movement in their own image. Just like what the alt-right/alt-lite faggots are doing now

>A hispanic Republican! Fucking based!

Hijacked by Jews and the media helped them right along.

They let the kikes in, when you do that it's over. That's why the alt right has a hard no Jew rule. The alt light doesn't and that's why they're a joke and the alt right isn't.

It didn't. They just stopped yelling all the time.

I'm confused by your image and accompanying message. Un related? Because those people are Xers.

This shit right here

Rubio is Gen-X, but the Tea Party rallies/donors were mostly Boomers and older. And Boomer "conservatives" are just so fucking manipulable and cucked - it's hopeless with them.

this

a continuation of Reagan's spiclove shit

>muh beaners will be republicans they just dont know it yet

Eric Cantor playing with his phone during the State of the Union.

That's what did it for me, at least.

>trump is president
>tea party failed
pick one

all the old faggots, in appalachia anyway, were 100% tea party faggots, then/now 100% trump supporters and still facebook share the exact same "obummer wauz a mooslam!!!4" shit.

brand it whatever you want.

>all that money on american apparel and brand new walmart lawn chairs
>listening/spouting """common sense""" about insanely complex/nuanced issues
>still owe $40k on their mortgages
>retired
was there ever a worse generation?

millennials are pretty fucking bad but how can a generation be worse than fucking boomers and this country not completely implode to mad max world?

The "Tea Party's" candidate in 2016 was Marco Rubio, aka "the first Tea Party senator."

Essentially the brand name got Co-opted by (((Republicans))) when they saw it as an actually viable road to power.

The grass roots are still there, Trump used them, fucking aristocratic retards in Washington can't figure out what the problem was.

The Tea Party was a tool of the GOP. It served the same function that OWS filled for the Dems. Both movements acted as a safety valve for their parties. They offered a way for the mainstream to filter, isolate, and neutralize their fringe elements. Both movements were a lot more popular than anticipated, which was an unexpected shock to the established political machine. This paved the way for an improbable candidate to snatch the WH away from a guaranteed winner.

Going back to about Y2K, both parties knew shit was happening in the constituencies. Information was disseminating faster than they could adjust the narrative. People were starting to see the cracks in the political monolith, and were shining lights in there. The splinter movements were supposed to be an amusing side show. Instead they gained an alarming amount of traction. That's why they got shut down in such a ham handed fashion.

the "Tea Party" was never a Political Party and its own website said so, so it didn't have to obey election and tax laws .

It has always been a "meme" mainly controlled by the Koch Bros branch of Republican Party, as the Guy Fawkes mask they put on when they want to pull shit they wouldn't want coming back at the GOP later

Rubio might have believed in Tea Party type beliefs but he is also a corrupt cokehead homosexual (who is perpetually in debt) so he was compromised easily.

The tea party was funded by the jock brothers, they were always tools.
More deeply winner take all voting systems, such as the US, always devolve into a two party system. Because of vote splitting. Till we have instant run off voting or puliarty districts, don't expect the two party system to go away.

Because like any popular movement that calls attention to the corporate/globalist/banking power structure, it was infiltrated by the establishment and then diverted towards divisive and irrational issues only tangentially related to the original cause.

>the tea party fell apart when andrew brietbart was assassinated
>"it's the kike's fault"

The GOP sent Sarah Palin in to corral them back into their fence. Can't have the sheep leaving the pen.

He's Cuban. Not a spic-lover, but here in Florida Cubans are overwhelmingly conservative. Cubans are the best spics as far as I'm concerned.

Some people know what's up.

Koch brothers funding it. Thats why.

This is why a decentralized anonymous movement is the best way to fight back.

>The tea party was funded by the jock brothers
it was glenn becks idea

>fucking aristocratic retards in Washington can't figure out what the problem was.
They know whats going on.

It was too white, not based enough for my tastes

What started as a legitimate grass-roots uprising go co-opted by political elites, thus becoming meaning controlled opposition to the establishment it was going against.
Same old story.

Isn't that the unabomber?

That's not what happened. The tea party is trump. Marco, ben sasse, etc. got co-opted by koch brothers and ryan/mcconnell/romney faggots. It's all about funding.

Yiu don't need to believe me- but the natives are getting very displeased with the rino-con party. These DC faggots are playing a dangerous game that looks likely will incinerate all major cities and return this republic to a blessed, God-fearing nation that is by, of, and for we the people.

Because they espoused the same conservative values as Sup Forums.

And those values are laughable, and the people espousing them are a joke.

Hence why you fags are only willing to say them when on anonymous image boards.
