So theres a large cave in the Ural mountains that wasn't discovered till 1984 yet Lockwood wrote about it. There's no way he could have got that right!!
The cave is so vast it hasn't been fully explored. 'The monstrous limestone cave system inside a mountain in a remote corner of Uzbekistan. The Russians spotted an entrance to the cave in 1984, but British cavers were the first to reach it and began exploring the system in 1990'
Also the towns around the Ural Mountains were all mining towns which also ties into Barron's story about the ant people originally being miners.

Had a afterthought to that. Following the same logic it would explain Bannon too. Bannon is in fact Baron but Baron visiting our time line from the future.
