Pennsylvania is much better than Indiana anyway, despite its shitty urban areas
Filthy Germans gtfo of my Anglo county.
>I'm 1/16 dutch!!11
lol, amerikaanse modderbloedjes
no Netherlanders please, you don't even know what this thread is about. If I have to explain "Dutch" one more time to people here, I'm going to blow my brains out. If you don't understand a thread, why post? I don't post in brit/pol/
It's a German dialect, just like Dutch, Kaaskop.
>Soll mer Deitsch wie Englisch schreiwe?
>Deel, die meene sel waer recht.
>Soll des Deitsch beim Deitsch bleiwe?
>Nau--sel guckt emol net schlecht!

Looks a lil bit like Pfälzisch kek
It is most similar to Pfaelzisch. Interestingly enough though actual Pennsylvania Dutch believe they're most like Swabians, undoubtedly there is some Swabian ancestry but it's basically incorrect. They don't care to be contradicted and generally ignore you when ever you tell them otherwise and repeat the Swabian thing later
my thought
Literally every time.
Remember this, goys.
we gave the "American" identity thing a chance for the last hundred or so years
>It didn't work out
...
4th Reich province of Berks stands ready
Reading is the county seat of Berks. What's your plan there?
any other butler fags here wishing for suicide to escape this fucking hellhole?
Its not actually dutch its german
Cut welfare and wait a year
are you even Pennsylvania Dutch? that's out near Pittsburgh
Reading seriously pisses me off, my family is from the area and it could be a pretty cool little city without those Puerto Rican pieces of shit
fuck if i know. the family of my dads side came from germany in the 1800's most reside in south central pa. my mothers half is all ukrainian and came here around ww2. and i have no relationship with either of them.
I mean even if you aren't technically, you could still assimilate. Learn the dialect, there's plenty of resources online for it now, and move out east. Almost all of us are mixed nowadays
I'll give one more bump after this and then let this thread die
Guder Owed un viel glick dann!
but why would i want to do that though? what can these communities offer honestly i know nothing about it. is it like the amish?
because you posted in a thread titled Pennsylvania Dutch? My suggestion was only to keep the posts relevant
Amish are Pennsylvania Dutch, not all Pennsylvania Dutch are Amish
if you knew how terrible of a place butler is you would understand my ignorance.
Jij bent echt kankerdom vriend
Lebanon county native here! I wish I could speak more than a few words, my great grandparents were the last to be really fluent
My ancestors were rhinelanders who moved to England before PA
