Bitch about Obamacare for 7 years and promise to repeal it

>bitch about Obamacare for 7 years and promise to repeal it
>finally have full control of government and the power to repeal Obamacare
>can't repeal it

Is there a bigger JUST than the Republicans right now?

It's just a ruse bro.
>Can't even 49D scrabble

it's interesting how the "republicans" are being blamed here when it's RINOs like mccain constantly subverting any attempt to fulfill their party's agenda

Gotta set a standard.

The RINOs have to be kicked out. Without them, the GOP would never fail to the extent where the next Obama can rise.

Maybe this was the happening WH user was referring to. Y'all tired of winning yet?

>have the best representation your party has had in congress for over 80 years
>seven months in and still can't get anything right

AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

yeah this is straight shill narrative bullshit

get the fuck out

>best representation in over 80 years

wut?

>McCain comes back
>Hugs and handshakes from liberals
McCain is not a republican and this isn't new. He and Lindsay Graham are fuckin dixiecrats

guys can you even imagine the tweets we are going to see from Donald tomorrow morning?

Republicans haven't had the House, Senate, and presidency since hoover in the 20's

How is that a shill narrative?

...

McCain is a traitor asshole with a tumor always has been

Look up the 83rd Congress, leftist scum.

what trump should do is pocket veto the russia sanctions until they pass healthcare and take away the exemptions they get from obamacare rage straight out the gate

HAHAAHHAAHAHHAHAHA

STOP MOVING THE GOALPOST. IF YOU CONSERVATIVES CANT EVEN STOP FIGHTING OVER WHO IS A CONSERVATIVE THEN STEP DOWN FROM GOVERNING

>step down from governing

That's not how it works here.

>vote for this bill that we say is just so we can make a better bill
>trust us that the house wont just pass it and make it law and turn health insurance into a dumpster fire

kek

come up with an actual fucking plan

>63 years instead of 80+
alright I'll laugh a little quieter next time

>control majority in every branch of government
>the only legislation that has passed Congress in the Trump era is a sanctions bill that targets Russia and takes away Trump's power to loosen them

Hmm, it is almost as if having a stupid, narcissistic corrupt asshole as your party leader has some detrimental effects.

It is almost if, bear with me here, threatening and cajoling Senators who dislike you has negative consequences.

Hmm, wonder if it is all related?

Oh, I almost forgot about the Bush years. 108th and 109th were all Republican as well.

SAGE

>what trump should do is pocket veto the russia sanctions
That would basically prove he's a Russian shill and would continue to push the narrative he's a Putin cockboy

I had to re-read your statement several times, because I thought perhaps you had missed some words.

Is this how "men" talk these days? Like some basic California Valley bitch? Unless you are a cunt then learn to speak properly and don't interject yourself into politics.

They need to free more slaves. Look at the stars on that fat diabetic elephant ok?

>Approved all of Obama's bullshit.
>Consistently vote for higher taxes
>Vote to extend the war in the middle east
>Vote against repealing because "we need a good replacement" which translates to "we need more socialist healthcare bullshit"
>BUT HE HAS AN R NEXT TO HIS NAME SO HES A REPUBLICUNT

I get it, republicans never thought they'd have a chance to actually repeal it and replace it with something better. Now they failed and maybe we can finally have bipartisan cooperation to improve the system we have now? The "landscape" sucked. I paid into insurance all my life and after sickness and brief lapse in employment I would have lost everything because of the batshit system we had.

Profiteering is absolutely rampant in healthcare industry because market forces don't apply to in patients captive to to whatever the hospital orders and drug companies can charge whatever they want and people will pay for essential medication that's patented for 20 years. Pharma has the highest profit margins of any industry, 30% is not uncommon. Private insurance just acts as a racket for hospitals to charge as they wish.

Literally every other modern country has a system of healthcare, not just a landscape, and all of them have lower per capita expenditure per patient. Yet the US still lagged in healthcare outcomes with respect to literally every condition except for cancers. Which is ironic considering the one reason we have lower mortality rate due to cancers is precisely because it's the one area we have MORE government involvement. Due to the prevalence of malpractice lawsuits, doctors in the US order tests much more frequently.

Good insurance doesn't work unless everyone buys into it. Insurance is essential for something like healthcare. Otherwise you have a positive feedback cycle where premiums to approach the cost of treatment and everyone is increasingly incentivised to purchase robust policies only when they need the insurance company to pay for something. The ACA was fundamentally a simple and common sense fix that we should be building off of not being alarmist about communism or some nonsense.

Try 10 years. See I understand the talking point you heard better than you do. Maybe you should pay more attention to Comrade Maddow next time.

>republigoyim

they only bitched to repeal it bc they knew obama would veto any attempt.

the truth about congress is the GOP is just as progressive as shitlibs, or at least they pretend to be.

DEMs won't repeal bc they're unprincipled idiots and niggers

the GOP won't repeal bc they know taking away free gibs is career suicide next reelection.

Democrats are stupid. Republicans are pussies. there are some true conservatives here and there though like Rand, Gowdy, Mike Lee, etc.

Lol that picture

the best is how congress asked him for help to get the military transgender surgeries out of the budget that also had his wall funding in it

and instead of making some nuanced political play he completely blindsides them by claiming to ban all transgender soldiers from serving, which wasnt even what they wanted

It's a thread about a huge vote. It's not a slide thread funded by Soros, fuck off. You lost.

>good insurance doesn't work unless everyone buys it

No, good insurance doesn't work when your risk pools are contaminated by high customers that you can't charge more for.

It's his responsibility to legislate to the best interest of his constituency and of the country as a whole.

country before party

The tardpublicans in AZ keep voting for him, though. And yea, he's a Republican. He's just old-school in that he still believes in compromising with democrats. He sat on the Benghazi panel, voted against Obamacare, called it a failure of government, expanded the military. I'd say he's a republican

>other countries have far better coverage for their citizens
>aren't having your problem

Yea, let's get rid of moderates and make our government even more polarized

It's what we wanted though. Tell hell with what Congress wants. Mentally ill people shouldn't be in the military. If a person diagnosed with childhood ADHD is permanently barred, why aren't group of people who have a 50% chance of attempting suicide?

This is how insurance works: you pay into the system when you're low risk, and when you become high risk (by getting sick or growing old), you have peace of mind of being covered.
high risk folks already pay more anyway, it's called a dedictible.

No kidding. No other system has to deal with so many obese shitskins.

>The tardpublicans in AZ keep voting for him, though. And yea, he's a Republican. He's just old-school in that he still believes in compromising with democrats.
That's what our political system relies on. If we wanted blatant partisanship, we'd have a parliamentary system.

both right-wing and left-wing people are acting like this happened because trump said it did.

it hasn't happened.

That's not how it works at all. Pooling risk is ineffective if you're pooling different risk classes. This is why people who have recently been in car wrecks have significantly higher insurance rates.

McCains dying action is to cast a deciding vote in the biggest issue of the 21st century. Unbelievable and will be in history books similar to seven years war and henry vii split from the church.

Republicans are total fucking dogshit, just like the Democrats. That's why people liked Trump, he ran on a Republican ticket but was so much not like them.

The official paperwork hasn't been pushed through the chain of command. A system has to be put in place to push the transvestites out and reject those already in the pipeline.

Use critical thinking when you read the news next time.

it's not what he wanted because he's said before he doesnt give a fuck about focusing on LGBT shit

they said "your wall funding is at stake" and he went nuclear thinking it would help, and now today every military leader was like "yeah we're not basing our policy on a tweet"

Republicans just simply don't have control of the Senate, tonight proves this

>why did you vote no
>because it was the right thing to do

>socialist healthcare "bullshit"
Yeah, fuck Trump's base! Let's pass a bill that will fuck over poor white people while helping out rich leftist billionaires! Universal health care is the best system ever devised and your faggy "free market" is proven shit. Here's a challenge for you, try to find ONE country with an effective free market healthcare system.

JUST is shortened version of the sentence "just fuck my life up, senpai" where senpai is actually an abbreviation of the word family shortened to it's first three letters. People use this sentence as a noun for some inexplicable reason. Then again, I'm 47 years old and had to endure everyone in the entire fucking country trying to talk like Elizabeth Daily in the movie Valley Girl. I don't want to judge too harshly.

The New Republic Party we need it fast. GOP is full of traitors and ill will and bad everything. Time to renew our Republic, time for a new conservative party that espouses the Constitution. we need it bad.

this, how can you trust a free market with a product that involves life and death

if someone gets sick you can charge them literally anything you want because their only alternative is to die

Independent here, but memes and bullshit aside, I genuinely don't understand why McConnell and all of the Republicans are fucking rushing this so hard.

Yes, they need to make good on their promises to repeal it to not look like inept retards - but even when the Democrats created their bill, they spoke to Republicans about it and had it out in the open far more than the Republicans did.

It feels like the Republicans are TRYING to fail. They could easily sit down and take the time to create a different bill and even ask some moderate Democrats for their support, but they're so wanton in their desire to just DO something that they keep tripping over themselves, and it's really fucking embarrassing. They have control of every little bit of the government and they're twiddling their thumbs.

If they can't get it right, move on to something else and come back to it. But Christ, over six months in and it's a been a shitshow.

>Universal health care is the best system ever devised and your faggy "free market" is proven shit. Here's a challenge for you, try to find ONE country with an effective free market healthcare system.
There isn't one. Every other industrialized country has a single payer system or a public/private model. They all pay less for care and get better outcomes.

The military has no choice but to implement his decision. The only reason they can't change the policy right away is because the official orders haven't been put through the proper chain of command. Of course, the completely legitimate news agencies spun the story as though the officers were going to refuse to implement his decision.

The whole thing is laughable anyway. Nobody wants to serve with these freaks.

I know, I was trying to imply that all these "real republicans" who've never crossed the aisle are just as bad as the democrats who passed Obamacare without and Republican support

>Pooling risk is ineffective if you're pooling different risk classes.

The point of insurance rather than paying out of pocket is to provide peace of mind in case of catastrophe.

If people don't have to buy enough insurance before they're high risk, then you get a death spiral.
Fewer healthy people purchase a robust policy, which makes the cost of premiums approach the cost of care, which makes more healthy people stop purchasing, which further concentrates high risk into a single policy, and so fourth as a positive feedback cycle.

Everyone has to agree to purchase enough insurance before they're high risk. Before the ACA insurance didn't provide peace of mind to the working class for this reason. What's the point if the premiums I have to pay when I need it are similar to the cost of treatment?

>is there a bigger JUST
Hillary Clinton.

>how can you trust a free market with a product that involves life and death

What?

Run I'll vote for you

Holy schizophrenia

Exactly. Obviously full communism doesn't work but we shouldn't just oppose every liberal policy because leftists like it or because it's "socialist."

>time for a new conservative party that espouses the Constitution.
if any of our laws are incompatible with the constitution then take it up with the courts.

>Obviously full communism doesn't work but we shouldn't just oppose every liberal policy because leftists like it or because it's "socialist."
That's where people fuck up. A single payer system is a product of social democracy, not socialism.

Most people draw the line at healthcare and education because those are required for a productive and healthy population.

The whole point of insurance is to pool risk, not subsidize the risk of higher risk classes. Should we pool coastal and non-coastal flood insurance policies next?

>death spiral

The death spiral is the current system. Old, unhealthy people are pooled with healthy, young people, which causes rates for young people to be higher than they should be. This turns young people off insurance, which lessens the number of low risk policies in the pool, which causes rates to increase, which turns young people off insurance, etc, etc.

Already getting them

I didn't coin the phrase "RINO" today.

>B-B-BUT WE HAVE SO MANY NIGGERS
SURE SINGLE PAYER WILL DECREASE HEATHCARE COSTS AND IMPROVE THE OVERALL STANDARD OF LIFE BUT IT WILL ALSO BENEFIT NIGGERS.
WE CANT HAVE SOMETHING THAT BENEFITS 300 MILLION PEOPLE IF IT WILL ALSO BENEFIT 11 MILLION NIGGERS

>implying judicial review is even constitutional

Why would you tweet a policy decision that hasn't been planned yet? Hmmm i wonder. Maybe he's trying to misdirect just like he did when he tweeted about Obama listening to his phone calls or insulting the girl from Morning Joe. If things don't go his way, he misdirects our attention elsewhere and the news and Facebook take the bait every time

Think of it this way.

If you can't buy a book, video game, or movie, you don't get to enjoy it.

If you can't afford healthcare or education, you'll be dead, in poverty, or bankrupt sooner or later.

it makes his pee-pee soft

He's just going to go down with the ship, isn't he?

Trump is firing Sessions, replacing him during recess. Mueller is fired before or after that.

Trump has nothing to lose. RINO's and Dems are trying to cuck his first 2 years. Already succeeded in robbing him of time.

Trump's hand is being forced.

forgot pic

If it saves people money and helps everyone out, we should be down with it.

Sup Forums for single payer? The memes would be glorious!

He was announcing his decision. I don't see a problem with it. The plan will come out and you transvestites will be out of the military soon.

>implying the NSA wasn't bugging Trump tower
>implying Obama didn't unmask Trump campaign staff in intercepts
>implying the House didn't appoint a special counsel to investigate this just last night

the thing is they had no order even ready, it was an off the cuff nuclear explosion, and remember this is Donald "I threatened to withdraw from NAFTA in the morning then got talked out of it by nighttime" Trump, so who knows what if anything will spew out of the pipeline

NO I WONT, I'M WHITE AND IMMUNE TO DISEASES OR OBESITY OR HEART CONDITIONS

AFFORDABLE INSURANCE IS FOR NIGGERS AND LIBSHITS WHO ARE STILL ON MOMMY AND DADDYS PAYROLL

SINGLE PAYER IS LITERALLY WHITE GENOCIDE

The implication being that government lessens the cost of healthcare or education? Have you seen the price of education since the government began handing out subsidized loans?

He threatened to pull out of NAFTA in order to renegotiate it. He didn't threaten to kick the transvestites put, he simply said he already decided they will be removed.

I don't understand why refusing entry to mentality I'll people is so controversial.

A bunch of Muslim countries and even Botswana have UHC, not to mention all of Eastern Europe and Russia. Plus, we already have Medicaid, so the 40% nonwhite thing isn't a big deal

The happening was the Mooch bullshit.

...

>implying medicaid spending isn't factored into healthcare spending

Among other things, there's no oversight of those industries.

Have you heard of hospital chargemasters? That is a part of the reason why insurance companies are fucking us over. If the government made them public or banned them, it would help a bit.

What's going on with college is like Obamacare. The government doesn't directly fund all higher education for everyone, it has a weird hybrid system which leads to increased prices. I don't necessarily advocate free college because I don't know if that's feasible, but universal health care would only lead to a very small tax increase except for the super-rich. Also, its worth mentioning that basically every UHC country pay less for healthcare then America, so your argument that more government=higher prices needs more evidence backing it up.

If Trump gets a recess appointment to fire Mueller what will probably happen is the senate will remove the appointment then re-instate Mueller since they can also appoint special council.

>pic related

>there is no government oversight of education

Are you retarded? Government caused the tuition spike we see today. Subsidized loans are why we have a trillion fucking dollars in outstanding student loans.

>theres no oversight of healthcare insurance

Are you high? Government regulators have had control of the industry for decades. Hell, half of healthcare spending is made by the government.

I am not talking about our laws, our fucking lawmakers from a party that is the only real the game in town for a Conservatives are a real problem. It has become the party of do fuck all because that is how politicians seem to operate. if it is good enough for gov't ...The GOP does not defend against the cancer that is contagious in DC and the hall of gov't the sewer if you will. Need a new party that will espouse the spirit our country as founded on but not make it fit the narrative the liberals are wanting it to fit. maybe not explaining right I'm tired.

Okay, fine. There's not ENOUGH oversight.

All you have to do is combine the medicaid/medicare payroll taxes, remove the ceilings and increase the percentage taken until you have enough to give everyone medicare.

Alternatively, you could simply delete the "over 65" from Medicare and give people the choice to buy into it.

Public option. Do it.

You know that's literally the reason why previous attempts by people like Nixon and FDR failed, right? This exact, actual reason.

>universal healthcare would only lead to a very small tax increase except for the super rich

I'm not sure why you're so caught up in health insurance. The problem is the cost of healthcare. You can fiddle with how its paid all you want, but there's no way to significantly lower costs without making healthcare more efficient.

Your argument is analogous to complaining about car insurance rates when everyone drives Lamborghinis. You have to lower the average cost of claims in order to actually make a dent in premiums.
