whores, whores never change

I was a kid I didnt care what the life was like

There was no internet so I fapped to magazines and vhs tapes.

Late 90s was all Wigger culture. It fucking sucked

shit was cash

I'd much rather live today than in the 90s, I can tell you that much

so not much different than today?

Grew up in the 90's
Looking back I realize how many ultra-lib feminist cunt teachers I had, essentially the precursor to he madness we're witnessing today
I wish I could go back and turn my 7 year old self into the person I am today and BTFO those stupid cunts

The culture was pushing ultraliberal ideas minus communism, people were naturally racist, early 90s looked like napoleon dynamite

good
as a kid i didn't give a fuck up politics
nowadays its omnipresent
seven days of the week watching the world going to shit
pretty stressful famamilia

Grungy

I was a kid so I had a great time, the 90's ended but the era didn't feel like it ended until 9/11 thats when things shifted

Fool's paradise. We invented our afflictions and crises, perhaps because we couldn't see or didn't want to see the real ones growing and metastasizing out there beyond our eyesight.

I don't get the love for the 1980s and 1990s. Things were more conservative, sure. But that's what people in the 2020s are going to say about the 2000s. How culture wasn't degenerate because instead of Steven Universe we had Camp Lazlo which taught family values and taught boys to be boys. The last good generation was probably the 1950s and even that had its tinge of degeneracy which led to the 1960s full liberal blowout.

i found a stash of sex newspapers from my grandpa and i fapped to those

Oldfag here (graduated HS in '95). Was pretty comfy (although the 80s were moreso). Nigger culture started slipping into the mainstream, TV started to become cancer with reality shows (Real World), they made everyone scared to death of AIDS (even though only fags & druggies got it), car culture was on the decline, college was expensive but you could still pay your own way unlike now (same with doctor visits), people talked about OJ for fucking years, and Bill Clinton was still a rapist.

>sexual image
>pointless thread
mindgeek shill detected

The number one thing you can do to improve your life is to quit seeking out instantaneous sexual gratification and renounce masturbation and casual sex. The end goal of a relationship is monogamy resulting in procreation. Anything else is degenerate.

Well, there was a big No Fags On The Moon movement.

there was more optimism amongst people

i wish this too so much.

This a million fucking times. My God, why do people keep falling for shit like this, these sexualized threads an demoralization threads?
They get about 100 replies minimum. Sage.

Eeeeeey macarena

I'm 34 and from a lower class neighborhood in Philadelphia. I think I lived in the last majority white poor neighborhood bdfore tons of spics and eventually niggers moved in by the late 90s.

Like warm apple pie

...

This

Was great. There was no homogenization and people were trying all kinds of shit out in everything they could.

The fashion is the best example. It's all over the place. And then metagame formed and everyone started using the same cookie cutter cool builds and nobody experimented.

The game has been stale ever since.

>I don't get the love for the 1980s and 1990s. Things were more conservative, sure. But that's what people in the 2020s are going to say about the 2000s.

I don't think so, the 90s were a pretty good balance of freedom and equality.

Now we're becoming more restricted ..not conservative but losing freedoms...due to the insanity of the left, powered by an explosion in narcissism and disconnected people via social media.

No one has a real community bonding over facebook, and no one will stick their neck out for a friend because people are wholly judging and condemning either other based on superficial opinions.

The facebook and twitter engine is powering the modern Maoist style movement of the left and there is no real life community to counter it.

Anyone can be hauled up in front of the mob for excommunication from society at any time. Look at Scaramucci recently who thought he was off the record with a reporter for some reason..he probably was just enjoying the relief of being candid. We'll see society continue to implode while leftist purists force everyone to wear a mask at work 24/7 and increasingly at home too.

As we become increasingly restricted due to loss of privacy and invasive government, employers, and leftist inquisitors into our lives we'll look back on the 90s as the last generation that had real freedom.

Not nearly as glam as that image but i do miss miniskirts. Short shorts and tight pants will do

1 piece swimsuits are sexy af

Mayfair?

Vastly better than the present is all you need to know.

There's something to be said about the 80s.
It was before they started pushing nigger culture as its own separate thing, onto the rest of us. Before "blame whitey" nogs were taken seriously. I think the 80s really ended about 1988 in the U.S.
>they made everyone scared to death of AIDS
It was an amazing feat actually, how they took a disease that was almost exclusively confined to gay men, IV drug users, and the ultra-promiscuous, and made it everyone's fault BUT those groups, while simultaneously using it to push faggotry and slut acceptance onto grade-school children. Truly the beginning of the Age of Sodom.

> What was life like in the 90s?What was life like in the 90s?

Shows pic from 1988

find the movie pcu. it was like that except no happy ending.

Der Berg ruft!

That's all I remember.

It was much more calm, entertainment compared to now was much more scarce so we had to appreciate what we had and we did. I was quite young in the 90s, I still remember it quite well. We had crime waves, trends, the internet, same as now. The internet was much different and I feel like a different person in another universe compared to when I first started using it.

it didnt really suck though
nwo, hollywood hogan, hall, nash taking over dubya c dubya

>Grew up in the 70's
>Young adult in the 80's
>Adult in the 90's

The 80's were great. There was a general sense that we were climbing out of the muck and filth of the 70's. Anything was possible and it felt good to be an American. I loved facing off with liberal demotards in college. God Bless Reagan (warts and all).

nigger I just posted a hot pic I don't even watch porn

car bombs and mobs were neat, now its just fucking boring

>sex newspapers
wut

Girls were as bitchy as they are today, don't be mistaken.
Overall, I would sum up my childhood by Videogames, Bad Internet and Optimism.

This user gets it
Fucking 90s sucked

That "nose"talgia

you wanna know about the 90s?

>youtube.com/watch?v=WMElCwsB7JQ

All you need to know.

I was born in 81. The 80s were much, much better than the 90s, but there aren't enough of us oldfags here who remember it. Everyone's nostalgic for their childhood, but you've got to get out of that mindset and look at it objectively.

New wave and Hair metal was the last era of music with any sort of true optimism. That shit died in 1991, and we got the psyop that was grunge/alternative/shoegaze. And they started pumping us up with despondent 'lovable losers' as our ideal men. And existentially minded, irreverent women became 'cool'.

All the cool stuff about the 1990s was really just leftovers from the 1980s. Neon colors, the last era of classic gaming, fun adventure movies, etc, etc. Even computing went from an underground movement of intelligent men to mainstreamed ubiquity by 1993.

Europe was virtually nigger free and About the worst thing was a few Turkroaches in Germany. The US had comparatively few spics and working class people could still earn a decent living without having to compete with Pedro (who by the way produces a detestably inferior product). If you think mass immigration isn't a tool of the ruling class, you're a blind and ignorant fool.

Better. Old folk always think that things were better in the past but I can honestly say that life was much better when the internet wasn't something everyone had access to.

like this:

youtube.com/watch?v=81P_afh2x5k

That looks like the late 80s to me, not the 90s, judging from the bike.

Anyway, I was born in 1991 and the 90s were fucking awesome. I can look back on it now as more of an adult, and everything just seemed more prosperous and more optimistic back then. People didn't feel guilty about stuff. People aspired to be successful. And people didn't feel guilty about being successful.

I think fashion reflects this attitude - people wore baggier stuff in the 90s. And I think that reflected a confidence and relaxed attitude to life that people don't have nowadays.

>1 piece swimsuits are sexy af
Yes and way too underrated these days. The 90's high cut ones were the best, the really accentuated a woman hips.

THIS

could ride my bike everywhere and not be worried
everything was still pretty cheap
music didnt suck
clothing styles were wack
nobody knew what a muslim was.... there werent even many black people around
politicians actually had opinions that made sense

But how much could you really experience of a decade when you maxed out at 9 and probably only remember 4 years in bits and pieces?

late 90s/early 00s was the golden age of vidya

I played with friends a lot outside. No stupid computers and smartphones.

Underrated

I member

here, also known as the "glorious age"

it sucked ass.

the 80's were probably pretty great, though.

Dance music was pretty degenerate. Teenage kids running around with soothers is subnigger-tier.

So did I, but we still had games consoles and cartoons so we definitely were inside sometimes.

Back them Islam was something so alien, nobody knew what was allahu ackbar, Ramadan, Kekbab and all that desert shit.
Niggers was something you associated with far away America.
It was a positive time, there was no hate like today. They were white and liberal times.
And that liberalism built our present degrading society.

degenerate music, movies, tv just beginning and people are gobbling it up.

every female in a position of authority just can't get enough of fucking white males over.

pretty much like it is now, but the remnants of the world before were still around.

These threads are made solely by dumbasses who assume that everything was magically better because they were kids then.

The 90s was when the cultural rot began to set in.

Cozy

All the 80s worshippers aren't mentioning Queen, one of the biggest bands of the time with an AIDs fag frontman teaching kids to be fags.

^ this

The 1980s was the greatest decade in film, at least.

Ads on TV were mostly white people back in the 1980's, but in the 1990's, major corporations sussed out they could shift more consumer goods if they marketed to non-whites, too.
Suddenly, all TV and billboard adverts looked like GAP adverts - all the races of the world, all laughing and hangin' out together APART FROM THE RED INDIANS 'COZ THEY DON'T FUCKING MATTER.
Musically, the charts were full of techno (early 90's), which explains why shite guitar bands like Nirvana and Blur (mid-90's) were paid ANY attention whatsoever, usually by kids who had never heard a guitar band at all.
Movies - Jurasic Park looked like a bad Playstation 1 game by the time it got released. CGI moved on, only to be extensively used to show actors being propelled through the air by explosions whilst shouting "WHOOOOAAAAA!!!!", as we get a closeup of their tonsils. Seriosly, check out any old VHS from this era, just to watch the trailers and see how many "WHOOOAAAAA"s you can spot.
Best of all? Less niggers and no "Human Rights Act" until 1997, which is when the decay of the UK begins in earnest.

>The 90s was when the cultural rot began to set in.
The internet fucked us

>1980s was the greatest decade in film
This is objectively correct

I'd like to know too.
I was stoned in the 90s.

Pretty much. This was the age of pop feminism and mothers abandoning children for MUH CAREAR!

Scrambled softcore porn

people actually went outside

Flying was so much easier

i used to jerk off to scrambled spice channel

I was hungry and poor.

I grew up in the 80s in a small village. All white.

We learned about Hindus, Sikhs and Jews in primary school but nothing about Muslims. I had never heard of Islam til we did religious education in secondary school and didn't meet a muzzie til my mid teens.

In my village, if pic related strolled down the high street in 1987, people would have honestly said "What the fuck...?" and called the cops.

Now, in a big city in the current year, it's a common sight. Sad.

can confirm, every picture of me was outside or just about to go outside.

...

>1980s was the greatest decade in film
>not the late 60's and 70s
we will have to agree to disagree

What was up with mid to late 90s fashion? Fucking Addams Family clothes.

Not much has changed huh

Nah, all of the best films were made well before that. 60s and 70s were the peak of film, with some great stuff in the 50s as well.

Would you rather have every second of your childhood photographed and put on social media by your parents, or are you okay with the curated film photos of the past?

I couldnt imagine growing up today and your parents have a folder on their computer of 10,000 pictures of you from the time you were born

>2001
I don't think you've understood this thread

The "grunge" look was a reaction to the 80's neon-ragamuffin plastic-fantastic look.
I will say, in the 80s, you HAD to be /fa/, even if looking back, much of it was a fashion disaster. The 90s were much more relaxed.

>The last good generation was probably the 1950s and even that had its tinge of degeneracy which led to the 1960s full liberal blowout.

You watch too much propaganda. The '50s/early '60s wasn't motherfucking Leave It To Beaver except in a few nice suburban enclaves. I was born in one but while comfy they were intellectually sterile. Dead tree media and TV were controlled by the usual rich assholes so Americans got a diet of propaganda similar to what some former Soviet citizens are nostalgic form. The Mafia were very powerful and political corruption was even worse and more blatant than today. Cops could and did get away with murder, but I'm White so no problem there.

The first thing to do is STOP trying to relate popular entertainment from any era to what living in that era was like, because they have near nothing to do with each other then as now.

Other than the fact young people today are the worst fucking crybabies I've ever seen, I prefer now to any time since I was born in 1959 and I've had a comfortable, interesting life.

Piss on all my peers who stopped adapting to change, and piss on all the bullshit nostalgia for previous eras because it's completely selective cherry picking.

Best part about movies from that era are Mel Brooks imo

90s had the worst music of any decade

degenerate and pointless with shit pop culture like today, but less shitskins and everyone was bluepilled

Exactly, Invasion of the Body Snatchers was more realistic than the nostalgic feeling people have for Marshall Plan society.

That movie was also scarier than all of the gore and shocking scenes you started to see in the 80s. People still understood human communication and the individual psyche.

the equipment and installation was from 94

Hahahah, member waitin' till' it de-scrambles for a few juicy seconds?

people still thought the earth was round back then.

Good times I guess?

the news was the main source of political thought and information for the masses was highly centralized
