I wonder if the ISIS fighters retreating from the Tigers towards Deir Ezzor will make a last-ditch attempt to destroy the RG garrison there once the link up with the ISIS units already in the city.
They've already tried so many final assaults on Issam in DeZ, and each one fails. It's quiet there now because they can't crack that nut. If anything more are being deployed away from DeZ. Although the Republican Guard there can't be squashed, they also really can't carry out an offensive from within either. So ISIS will likely just draw more and more resources away from holding the pocket to try and maintain their defensive lines against the Tigers in Raqqah (and now DeZ), and the 5th Assault Corps in the desert, and Succnah.

Would unironically watch a film about Deir Ez-Zor. Especially if it followed the pocket from it's first encirclement, the two attempts to break the siege, the splitting of the pocket, and the soon to come actual breaking of the siege. Maybe a mini series, with a character viewpoint of SAA soldiers in Palmyra, and the failed Ithriya offensive.

How do the Tiger Forces hold up compared to Hezbollah in terms of fighting skill?
Of course the two aren't directly comparable, with Hezbollah specialising in urban fighting and tank busting in the hills while the Tigers sweep across the desert in pickup trucks. From the footage I've seen of Hezbollah fighters they seem to very professional, IIRC they have a kill/death ratio of 1.5 losses for every IDF soldier killed, which is quite impressive.
The Tigers also seem to be very effective on the battlefield but I haven't seen much footage of them that really shows how skilled the individual soldier is.

The Tigers seem to be far more effective in their operations than Hezbollah are. That being said, the Tigers are a very small, very elite special forces unit used for offensives. Stormtroopers but without the high casualties.
Hezbollah are an entire force all in their own, and have tens of thousands more than the Tigers. I'm sure this is the reason why, but we see more failures from Hezbollah, and personally I have seen less successes from them too. However, they're a useful force that is at the par of a local, regular army. No doubt they probably have their own special forces that rival the Tigers, but we don't hear much of them.

There was an article by a Kurdish writer suggesting that the SAA and the SDF were the building blocks for a future Federal Syrian Army or something along those lines.
That would suit both the Syrian gov't and the Kurds, with the Kurds guaranteeing security in the north of the country in return for the Syrian government defending the sovereignty of a federal Syria against Turkish incursions.
I'm not the biggest fan of the Kurds but one has to be realistic.
