Also you are conflating "freedom of speech" with "first amendment", a mistake perpetuated exactly by the crowd you are trying to fight.
First amendment only states that the federal government (and by Supremacy Clause, the state and local government) will make no law abridging freedom of speech (among other things). It doesn't have and cannot have anything to do with Facebook, Google or anything you do outside government legislation or regulation.
Freedom of speech, on the other hand, is the God given right (or the natural right) to speak and express your views and opinions.
That (along with self defense, for instance) is a natural right, nobody can give it to you, only remove by your consent or by force. Facebook, Google, the government or whatever cannot give you that right and there is no "turning it into an utility" that would make those services "abide by the first amendment" or "grant you freedom of speech" more than they do now.
Now, your point is that govenment should impose something similar "the Fairness Doctrine" on those services a s regulate what they can and cannot do. That's truly stupid, violates the first amendment and giving the govenment that power would simply do more harm than any good to can derive in short term.

Had an interesting chat with my sister last night. I'm not exactly sure what you'd call what she does, but she's kinda a motivational speaker. She works with adults and students who are looking to transition to the professional world, and she helps them with speaking, interviewing, and shit like that. She lives in the Raleigh area so she does a lot of classes at Duke, NC State, and other schools in that area.
She said that in the year her job has become almost impossible. That students are so sensitive that even constructive criticism is seen as an attack. She's had students try to get her fired for telling them that appearance matters and they need to stop the blue hair dye and dress professionally to get a job. She's even gotten harassed and threatened irl and had to file a restraining order.
Have colleges really gotten this bad?

No, I strongly disagree about the influence. For example in Finland, gay marriage 10 years ago would have been impossible to imagine. However trough subversion by media, celebrities and especially online, even older people have largely changed their minds. This isn't only a problem with the education system, which effects the young. If that was the case the change of opinions we are seeing would not have happened nearly as quickly.

I have an argument against gay marriage: a marriage is about having children and raising a family - that piece of paper is useless for a childless couple who are already living together.
Gays cannot conceive, so the only way this degeneracy spreads is by "infecting" the minds of the young (hence, adoption in gay couples).
Gays are here to stay, have been here for as long as there is recorded history: there is 0 reason to grant them marriage as a social status if they cannot make babies. The same should go for infertile straight couples.
Actually there is but its a little too abstract for the average person to think about it. The idea is that if we place gay marriage at the same equal level than hetero marriage then we consider that if suddently every marriage was gay marriage our society would continue to work on fine which is not true. If Everyone was gay then we would simply go extinct, there's no way to replace the natural child birth process by artificial means without unustanable cost. Maybe in the future it will change but thats not feasable today, so gay marriage should not be considered a normal equivalency to hetero marriage.
