Oh absolutely. Bill Clinton took one of his courses, I believe at Harvard, and mentioned him by name during a speech, I think when he declared he was running for President. Bill of course took Quigley's analysis of the global powerstructure and used it as a map to get himself on the Council of Foreign Relations, I think.

Start with Manly P Hall The Secret Teachings of all Ages, then start reading Morals and Dogma to get a look into Freemasonry. After that start looking in astrotheology, alchemy, and hermeticism.
You need to understand The Shadow. Not everyone has your best interests in mind and some ARE malicious and out to abuse you if they can get away with it. The solution is to figure out how to recognize that malice and figure out how to be in the world where you're not vulnerable to that kind of abuse. That's particularly difficult with female abusers in the west, since they have the state 100% on their side. Go look up some MGTOW stuff, JUST to find out how to avoid being abused by a woman, but leave most of the women hating stuff there. You don't want to close yourself off to all opportunities for meaningful relationships with women, just learn how to avoid the bear traps.

How do I improve my position in society. I've noticed lately after countless hours of JBP lectures that I have a problem trusting myself and my own decisions, I doubt myself. I'm probably not totally uncucked, IMO. There's always a next step to take.
But there were 2 un-cucking factors, 2 that started out separate and ended up synergizing. One was experiencing those painful IRL lessons. The second was my own casual studies, where I have gobbled down anything I could about biology and the rest of the natural sciences. You get exposed to some very fundamental redpills through understanding biology.

It's the same way for me. Think of small talk as a way of sharpening up your conversation skills. There are some people who live and breathe intellectual thought, and it's stifling to grow up around others who don't understand that. Find the right people for it. Getting a degree is a great way of developing this.

You improve your position in society by becoming skilled at something that others value. This could be anything from gun design (get a degree in firearm engineering, I don't know), teaching, writing, computers, whatever.
Part of what helps for me is asceticism. Cutting out things from your life that you don't need, that distract you, will help you to purify your mind and allows you to focus on what you know you need to do. If you are sure that what you are doing is the sole task which requires your attention, then there is absolutely no reason to doubt yourself. Act out of will, not fear or desire.
You definitely need to get yourself some friends mate. The army shrink was right. Join a volunteer group through a church or something and get some structured interaction with people into place.

On this topic in particular there are two things you can do:
1. Repeat back in your own words what they want you to do. This ensures that you're both on the same page and it'll help your memory because you've said it in your own words, you'll remember it both abstractly and with the muscle memory of having moved your mouth to say the words.
2. Get a notebook and write down your assignments once you've confirmed everything verbally. This will back up your memory and then you can refer back to it when you become self-conscious and doubt yourself.
If you think about it, Maps of Meaning coheres to the ideology of intersectionality. That reality isn't some objective 'thing' sitting in front of you, but array at multiple levels of structured action which conditions human action and thought. However the conclusions postmodernists draw from this is completely opposite from Jordan's, to say the least.
It goes back to the Protestant Revolution in Europe. A big part of it was throwing away the concept of Hell and acting like everyone was assured of Salvation, regardless of what they did, as long as they had faith in Christ. All well and good but when you reject Hell and Satan you throw away the archetypal symbols for evil and failure and malevolence. So how do you deal with that? Back then it led to witch hunts and superstition. Secular Historians have actually shown this through good research.
It's only gotten worse with the hedonism and anti-spirituality pushed by globalists and postmodern neo-marxists: everyone is a saint and nobody's responsible for anything bad they do, it's all society's fault!
We want order but we don't want to put in the work. An ordered and free society is only ever going to develop if people have control of themselves, if they complete the process of individuation. This is the lesson of Christ that Peterson talks about in relation to the Jews. They try to export that order to government. If humanity externalizes everything to government we will only get chaos.

For one example, I was raised to be non-violent and to treat girls as equals, all that hippie utopian crap.
It took me until my 20s to start developing a realistic(eg paternalist type misogynist) attitude towards women. Even though I knew from at least my teens that they were less intelligent and just didn't think like us. From my reading hobby I learned about how different the male and female reproductive strategies are, and there was no turning back from that particular redpill.

It's funny because this seems to be the only way I make friends, through classes or activities where others are "forced" to be with me. It sucks being so lonely because I'm not introverted at all. I like being loud and happy, I go to EDM concerts all the time but I never have the gall to talk to anyone.
Thing is that after I make these friends I'm the only one that wants to be around them, not them around me. I never get called or texted to be at X because the crew is going to Y. I need to become more interesting i suppose

Protip: most people are like that. You're not unique in that regard. Almost everyone makes friends by structured interaction and then as you develop the relationship, it becomes a deeper friendship where you start hanging out all the time, like your after school friends.
I've done half of the program but I need to sit down and finish it. So far I found it useful, but I'd already been doing some of the things it recommends before I found it. The less conscientious you are the more it'll help you.
