Fiction. Most all of my ideas are science fiction, but only in the sense that they're either set in the near or distant future with a level of technology we don't currently have access to. The topics range from marketable ideas that are hot right now (virtual reality and 80s nostalgia) to time travel or far-future humanity in space.
I'm not really looking for /lit/'s approval, but the two books they'd probably talk about the most (I don't say praise or shit on because threads are a mixed bag) would be two about medical horror and a modern serial killer. The latter is one of the only ones not sci-fi so far. They'd probably criticize my more "generic" sci-fi novels for being accessible but then again I'm not writing for /lit/. The extent of my writing consists of "yeah, that would be cool" turning into "okay, this idea has potential, I could probably turn this into something"
