No troll serious question

I've noticed that a large majority of my stoner mates who've been smoking for at least 10 years daily, exhibit autism/aspergers symptoms

If there is a link, and this isn't just the effect the herb has on them at the time, does that mean people with autism/asp are more likely to get addicted to weed, or that weed can turn people autistic

To be fair I know one of them had aspergers as a child, but I haven't heard that about the others.

Any of you guys know anything about it?

Being unable to socialise with YOU doesn't indicate global socialisation disorder. You're just a regular old beta with regular beta friends. Your pseudo-straightedge views will give way to reluctant abuse, months to years from now.

didn't mean to hurt your feels Cheech, you're very defensive over your cuck-plant

Autism here. I think its just the chosen method to deal with it.

I have noticed that a large majority who've been playing basketball for at least 4 years, exhibit an over average body height.

correlation doesnt mean causalisation

td;dr they all use it as a medicine for a psychological disorder

>td;dr they all use it as a medicine for a psychological disorder

makes sense

the one who I know had it since a kid is one of the heaviest tokers I've ever seen, she can also hear a bank number forwards once then relay it to you backwards.

Super power.

On a side note I reckon HFA is a kind of evolution.

I should clarify, it doesn't actually stop any autism symptoms, just makes it slightly bearable.
10 years as it happens.

would you care to elaborate? I'm curious.

Do you mean like as a mood lifter, or an energiser or something?

has anyone tried CBD by the way? In isolation I mean.

marijuana reduces grey matter in the brain which effects emotional learning. autism is similar in that theure also emotionally retarded. tell them to fucking stop for a bit before theyre literally walking zombies

OP,

I suspect the effect of pot on brain chemistry is moderate. I.e it makes you kinda retarded across the long term.

But what is probably a more significant effect is how pot. Ames you content with crap. Live in a crappy place? Smoke weed and you won't care. Have a crappy relationship, smoke weed after an argument and it won't matter. Stuck in a shitty dead end job. Smoke weed and you'll be so content you won't even notice he opportunities passing you by.

It's probably less that weed makes you stupid and probably more that it makes you dumb and happy when you should be mad and striving towards improvement.

Compound this effect across 10 years and it's a literall recipie for loserdom.

And yes, there are successfully habitual users. But it's far from the norm.

I agree, depression being the number one reason and that people with higher level autism normally aren't dumb enough to take anti depression meds.

there are studies that show it helps with autism..... try again faggot

It's the high THC, they're saturted in it as it's fat soluble and it mimics somewhat psychosis if it's not conjugated with high CBD content (no longer typical nowadays with all the skunk-like weeds out there).

Marijuana makes you a retarded. FUCK marijuana

Some of them already are zombies. One of them has literally banned everyone from asking him questions, because it annoys him too much, he's got no colour in his face, smokes from when he gets up to when he goes to bed, and is miserable as fuck all the time, except when he's drunk, he's nearly 40.

The girls are able to hold down jobs, some are quite demanding jobs, and they can go without weed for that duration, the lads seem to get affected way more profoundly socially.

I used to smoke myself for a long time by the way, I'm not a weedophobe, but now I've stopped I feel better in myself and am more active.

My mate who's doing biology at Uni told me that long term pot use leads to a lithium deficiency in the brain.

I'm psychotic, depressed etc. etc. and don't take antidepressants. Good call

Autism is only helped minimally by green, just to suppress a bit. Due to my other crippling mental illnesses I will never be off of it.

>One of them has literally banned everyone from asking him questions, because it annoys him too much, he's got no colour in his face, smokes from when he gets up to when he goes to bed, and is miserable as fuck all the time, except when he's drunk, he's nearly 40.

He is genius level at scrabble and chess though, any game he can quickly figure out how to optimise the moves to win. But socially he's a moody nightmare.

Autism/Aspergers can be made slightly better with marijuana/alcohol. Doesn't make us any less socially awkward, but people assume "He's drunk/high, so that's why he's being weird", and it does help us relax too

To put it fucking bluntly if I'm not smoking weed I pace about the room a lot and not it does not make you retarded just lazy.

I hear that, I used to enjoy hash much more than skunk, skunk gave me sensory overload, which I would have thought would be bad with autism, where sensory overload are sometimes an issue already.

>One of them has literally banned everyone from asking him questions, because it annoys him too much, he's got no colour in his face
He isn't like that because of weed, he's like that because he's Sean Spicer

ah right.

I know one lad who was diagnosed with a catalogue of issues, including ADHD, he says weed calms him down

smoke more, and build more of a tolerance, it is much more enjoyable then, its good for learning to put off negative thoughts.

I really can't describe it however it has helped me, I would usually binge on weed until I've smoked the lot and quit again and when I quit I'm much more focused and able to get important life shit done and out of the way before I have a break down.

Nope. Its actually a super normie thing to do in general like going to parties and such.

but it is going to draw in people who have a shitty time coping with things like parties and sex and drink because they are easy distractions obviously.

Millions of chads and stacies smoking blunts on instragram, with captions like BETTAH THAN U is the proof.

good kek, to be fair he's the biggest dick I've ever known, and most people say the same, even his gf lol. Fuck knows why she's with him, I think she sees him as a project or some shit.

I did get a bag recently when my mum was seriously ill in hospital, it did help stave off the emotional stress to be fair, I felt really calm dealing with everything

Everyone I've met with Asperger's;

>was raised by a single parent
>single parent yelled at them a lot
>raised with little to no emphasis on self-esteem
>at least one parent is promiscuous, often forcing their kid to bear witness to their degenerate sex life
>smarter than their parents
>parents refused to take accountability for any of their mistakes

I seriously think Asperger's comes from environmental factors like being bullied by your own parents. I was a child psych major until I dropped out and I worked with really spergy kids, I used to have some traits myself until I got a gf and now I'm exponentially less spergy.

It could be like ADD, just made up as fuck. Shitty western parents will go pay a doctor they know deep down is full of shit to pump their kid full of drugs and tell them it has nothing to do with their crappy parenting.

>"IT CAN'T BE MY FAULT, I'M GOING TO DR. SHEKELBERG FOR A FOURTH OPINION"

>but it is going to draw in people who have a shitty time coping with things

makes sense, like an emotional safety valve

I don't think you know how tolerance works

It's a result of having old parents. I was raised by both, they have been and still are married, no cheating or drama.

My self-esteem was boosted more than it should be because my little sister is mentally slow and my parents recognized I was smarter than they were from a young age.

It's not an environmental thing at all. It's genetic. My son and father also have it.

yup i fit that description, mother use to be a fucking cunt after she split with my dad...

I've never been diagnosed and doctor said I'd have to pay £2000 to get it done private, so I've never bothered, I'm aspie as fuck but its good to know it can be reversed?

It's the truth, being around heavy pot smokers is like interacting with people that have a brain injury. So glad I quit.

I do you spacker, because everytime I start again I have to rebuild the tolerance, same with alcohol, its not rocket science.

I've noticed that a large majority of my stoner mates who've been smoking for at least 10 years daily, exhibit autism/aspergers symptoms

>What are you a fucking expert?

If there is a link, and this isn't just the effect the herb has on them at the time, does that mean people with autism/asp are more likely to get addicted to weed, or that weed can turn people autistic

>substances that change the way people are such as caffeine, weed or alcohol or heroin or crack name any one effect the body.

>if a substance makes you more obsessed with something and you are naturally that way inclined because of autism for example, this will get worse or better depending on how the substance works on you.
To be fair I know one of them had aspergers as a child, but I haven't heard that about the others.

>10 pints of beer will make anyone seem like they have walking problems.

Any of you guys know anything about it?

people are drawn to solutions by themselves if they have problems.

people shoot heroin because it reminds them of a time that they were loved or do psychedilics because real life is boring.

its not healthy but neither is the fat bastard shoving chips in his face at macdonalds and you can see that any time you walk in one.

can relate, I'm borderline asperger and weed actually helped me a lot. It actually break the shell of interovertedness when you are high. Social interactions with normies are also a lot easier

Tolerance is a bad thing, dipshit. That means you have to buy more weed to feel the same level of high.

You're telling him to smoke more to build up his tolerance. When your tolerance is low, you can get that high without having to smoke a lot.

This. Mild alcoholism has been my ticket out of assburgers. Not even a joke, I used to hang around with the beta geeks up until age 16 (guess what the drinking age in NL was back then) and now I'm just regular with normal friends. Alcohol helped me adapt to normal people and once I got the hang of it, I could slowly build off my drinking.

aspergers and autism would be an improvement
i only notice retardation

>Due to my other crippling mental illnesses I will never be off of it.

hope it gets better for you mate

>causalisation
Are you high? You can't just make up words and expect stoners to believe you

Much appreciated man.
