All of them will be blissfully unaware of the reality that surrounds them, and our offspring will welcome this world with open arms.

2006 to about 2011/12 ish the internet was actually different because it was actually apart from the mainstream media and itself. these days the memes get FED INTO Sup Forums and are not funny unlike how it used to be (the other way around).
Nothing lasts forever but the internet is getting progressively worse since really its creation in various cycles and different sites.

Sup Forums is not social media. The current social stagnation of teenagers is not because of Sup Forums or other imageboards like it. Those teens are not on Sup Forums; they are wasting away on Facebook, snapchat, Instagram, and all those social media sites which provide nothing of value. Being born in '95 and not getting a cell phone until high school, I can see the difference in my peers. While I try to catch myself and stay off my phone everyone around me is glued to theirs. Last night I went to a party with 20~ people and there was a solid 1 hour of everyone looking at their phone, not talking, and having music/tv on in the background. It's a weird feeling :/
