WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION MAKES 10BILLION ANUALLY

Have you fallen for the dental Jew Sup Forums?

Although recommended by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, wisdom tooth extraction may do more harm than good.
>Studies show "Only 12% of truly impacted teeth >are associated with pathological conditions such >as cysts and damage to adjacent teeth."
>"In fact, 50% of upper third molars classified as >impactions are normally developing teeth"
Many dentists take advantage of the vanity of patients claiming that failure to remove the teeth will result in the crowding of other teeth, even though this is simply not the case.
In addition most patients are not properly informed of the risks
>lockjaw
>burns
>Permanent nerve damage
>infection
>cavitation
>dry socket.
Remember pol, never trust a man in a white jacket, these snake oil salesmen are just out for your money, and have very little evidence to back up thier claims.
Unless it's absolutely medically necessary, keep your wisdom teeth.

Good article I found on the subject.

I left a wisdom tooth alone and a huge chunk fell out after 8 years because I couldn't reach it with a toothbrush. I think its better to take it out when its tiny.

still got 4 wisdom teeth.
2 top 2 lower.

not young anymore.
not chancing it.
it's nice having 4 backups.

then why does the military bother taking them out? I got x rayed when I joined. 1 year later at dental the dentist said they looked like they weren't moving at all but decided they should take em out just in case

This. They can be really hard to clean.

This is ironic because my Jewish/Russian dentist didn't make anyone in my family get braces or their wisdom teeth pulled, even though I asked for these procedures out of paranoia. She said it was not necessary. She even gives us a discount and takes care of everything in one session. A typical American dentist would have made us make multiple appointments for no reason except to make more money and they charge double.

the most extreme pain I've ever experienced happened because I let my decayed wisdom tooth emerge rather than have it removed

i was coerced into getting mine removed because they tell you theres a greater risk of getting nerve damage if you wait till theyre fully grown into your jaw

This, in boot camp they literally round up all of the recruits with wisdom teeth and yank them out, whether they're an issue or not.

They're often difficult to clean without really getting in there with floss and they can cause problems that only become apparent once they've fully broken through (contacting and impinging the neighbouring teeth etc.)

how did humans survive for thousands of years without wisdom teeth removal?

>didn't let the kikes take my hyperborean wisdom teeth
>now my jaw has a distinctly noble forward protrusion, allowing me to grasp food delicately with my teeth acting as a fine pair of pliers
jews on fucking suicide watch

I got my wisdom teeth removed a few years ago. I got all the opiates and ice cream I could hope for.
The only sucky part was when the painkillers ran out before the pain did.

I once watched a documentary about human teeth and their development through history
I am convinced that our teeth are one of the many reasons of why we're fucked

agreed, I am laughing at all the retards that wasted money to get their own teeth removed
mine have never caused me discomfort, no point in removing them

I was told to have them removed and I never did. Now I'm 36 and have two rotten, broken, painful teeth. I've come to the conclusion that I have a fear of dentistry, apparently a common thing, because there is other reason that I have avoided it this long. I have plenty of money and insurance, I'm just a faggot who doesn't like general anesthesia. I recently made an appointment to get it done and its giving me anxiety thinking about it right now.

THere's no reason to have them, and they can be detrimental to overall dental health if they become impacted. We don't chrew food that has the consistency of leather and rope anymore

>wisdom teeth
>wisdom
>"those are gonna have to come out user"
fuck you

>general anesthesia
They do that in burgerland? Here you are only locally anesthetized and you see the dentist fiddling in your mouth while he explains you what he's doing

I don't know how dental treatment works in the US (whether it's prohibitively expensive or not) but assuming you go to the dentist when you're supposed to once every six months for a check-up, any dentists worth their salt would spot wisdom teeth problems right away. It's one of the first things they check.

its not your teeth's fault that you can't take care of them properly

Wisdom teeth give your tongue more surface area to push sideways against which leads to a wider palate which allows you to breathe more easily, gives you a better looking face, and also gives mental and hormonal benefits.

Bump...

I fell for it. They cracked and chipped half my teeth cutting the the wisdom teeth out.

If you don't have your wisdom teeth then you'll never fully mature into an adult , having those extra teeth come in changes your facial structure and the way your facial bones develop.

orr they impact and cause unbelievable pain and tooth damage.. you're going nowhere with this

>got my wisdom teeth extracted like 2 years ago
>fully put under anesthesia
I paid the Jews a fuck load of money so they could microchip me without my knowledge, huh?

they impact yes
but only in people who have had poor diets and poor facial muscle usage growing up due to soft foods. this type of lifestyle leads to an underdeveloped jaw with no room for the teeth to come in.

this knowledge is for the children growing up now, if you're reading this now its obviously too late for you

but you can save your kids.

I have plenty of room for my wisdom teeth. My dentist said no reason to get rid of them if they aren't crowding. I'm inclined to agree with him.

1 chip for each tooth senpai

why do you think you have room for them and most dont? do you eat lots of tough foods? is your diet full of high quality foods?

i had to take mine out

26 year old here
Your genes suck, you are a human from the past.
I never had wisdom teeth and never will.

Though I agree with op there's 2 reasons
1
They don't want to chance it being a issue later and having to take you off duty to get that shit fixed
2
It's honestly practice for the military dentists and those in A school to be a dentist or assistant. You are essentially practice dummies

>implying evolution will select for humans with less and less teeth over time
no

What if you just let them keep coming in?

i didnt get them out until one started to surface and got infected. dentist said it would just keep getting infected if i didnt get them out

I got mine taken out just so I could get the next few days off. Planned it perfectly too because afterwards we got a 4 day

>Your genes suck, you are a human from the past.
Your living DNA contains living memories of your past relatives thus you can activate ancient memories but yeah anyway it's how one gets to Eden..

I'm old.

I haven't seen a dentist since I was 18. The last time I was there they told me I needed to have a couple cavities filled and my wisdom teeth extracted. It's been literally decades and the "cavities" never materialized and my wisdom teeth are fine. They came in perfectly and have never caused any problem.

I do have some crowding of the bottom front teeth which is pretty common, and may be related to the wisdom teeth, but it's not serious. Plus, I never had braces.

bottom ones were already mild painful, i guess pain would just increase.

and i paid removing 4 of them like 200e, so i guess i didn't get jewed a lot

Wisdom teeth get dirty and cavities really easy which may lead to infection.

I got both taken out, because I wanted to and it doesnt feel strange or different in any way.

It did not hurt and I was not in full anesthesia. The dentist took it out with some kind of a tool that looks like a screwdrive, dunno its name.

Since then my wisdom teeth dont hurt, I never had any infections and eat non different than before.

Taking your wisdom teeth out is real redpill.

I was quoted for a one dental implant recently.

Five grand.....

I love it when they immediately tell you, you need a two thousand dollar root canal for tooth pain.

Keep them its a scam to remove them , and you will need them later.

I need pretty serious oral surgery at this point according to a friend-of-a-friend dentist that I showed it to. Routine, but still serious. I'm pretty sure she said its a general anesthesia procedure.

yeah that's what the problem is, I'm too chickenshit to go the dentist. I haven't been to one in over 10 years. I never really thought about it until very recently and it was a bit of a revelation. I just couldn't think of any other reason why I haven't handled it yet. I'm not accustomed to irrational phobias but I guess I have one.

Mine became impacted and were very painful

Here's my quote for braces and wisdom teeth extraction... Fuck my life. Im gonna have fucked up teeth for the rest of my life.

what is the fucking point of your insurance? It covers

I have room for a second row of wisdom teeth. I doubt diet has anything to do with it, likely just genetics.

Don't do it.

yeah that price is way less than here

>I haven't been to one in over 10 years.

You really should go, bud. Not even for the wisdom tooth thing but because after that length of time, you're almost certainly in need of periodontal cleaning. The longer you delay it, the worse (and potentially more expensive) it's going to be.

When I moved for college and got a new dentist he told me that the skin from below my gums was falling off and that I would need major surgery to fix the problem or I would be in dentures within 5 years. As a 19 year old kid with no previous dental problems other than ironically having my wisdom teeth out.

I noped the fuck out of there and found a real dentist. 50% of dentists are scam artists. Don't trust any dentist that says you have 7212531 cavities or need a bunch of root canals. Pay the $80 to get a second opinion before they screw you.

MYH16 gene mutation for you.
Also I have 196cm.
How does it feel to be a modern ape ?

genetics doesn't play that big a part, most of the faggots here that have their wisdoms removed had ancestors that had wisdom teeth grow in just fine

Just don't go to Dr. Goldshekelstein and you'll be fine.

>impactions are normally developing teeth
Pic was basically my teeth before removal, go die with no teeth fool

...

I had no choice. two of my wisdom teeth were growing almost horizontally and would have damaged my molars. Plus I never had any problem, aside from some pain after the local anesthesia ended

>Just got my wisdom teeth removed 1 week ago
>I have tinnitus now

That's fucking retarded. You might as well ask how we survived without antibiotics or electricity - worse.

MYH16 is postulated to be important for the development of a larger brain, so tell me what is your IQ?

Looks almost like both my teeth

All of those factors are funnel effect producing things -> they raise up the lower portion of humanity while depressing the upper portion of humanity. Without them humanity as a whole would be better off even though some individuals would be worse off.

Why would it result in crowding? Wear a retainer.

He posts on Sup Forums
So at least 140

Yes, also narrower jaws, smaller teeth and less space for the 3rd molar (wisdom teeth)

>what is your IQ?
never got tested

>tfw you just paid for permanent hearing damage

I KNOW AND IT PISSES ME OFF DONT RUB IT IN

Yeah I recently made an appointment after my revelation that I'm a big pussy for being afraid of a dentist. Its really weird to even think about or admit, even anonymously. I'm honestly quite ashamed of the whole thing, and that may be a factor too. I've even had surgeries before and it wasn't a problem, and I've had many trips to the hospital for injuries and have no hangups about needles or anything. Its just dental stuff that creeps me out.

I've even had infections in the wisdom teeth in question that I treated with natural bullshit like a poultice made of raw garlic, green tea, and salt. It actually worked and made it go away within a few days while treating the pain with whiskey and weed. At the time I didn't even think about the lengths I was going to just to avoid the dentist. Its like my subconscious was blocking out rational thought. Its hard to explain.

Maybe true for some, but for me I had impacted uppers, which was resulting in crowding of some of my teeth already, and my lowers were double impacted- also resulting in some crowding. I was having TMJ symptoms and random gland problems in my jaw from middle school until I had them removed in college at 20 years old. Pretty sure I did the right thing. No more problems with my jaw- there are no words for how awful jaw pain can be.

your brain can eventually shut of its response to the damaged fibers.

just sleep with a fan

Unless you get the operation done by some nigger in Africa you aren't going to get those symptoms

nowadays more like 110

narrow jaw isn't decided my masseter volume senpai
it's based on your tongue width

i think you are conflating suboptimal development with genetic progress for the sake of your own ego

Thanks, any other tips? This is my first time dealing with a health problem like this.

In here they do x-ray before removing it to verify there is something wrong with that tooth before handing you one hour dental surgeon time.

Guess stingy semi-socialist medicine with long long long long queues has its merits for once.

I had my wizzys out and the relief after it was all done was something like this image complete with a heavenly chorus of angels.

ive had the same ringing for almost 10 years now, it doesnt go away , i don't notice it anymore though until someone brings it up

>first time dealing with a health problem
welcome to the party pal
since you caught it so early you might be able to solve it ... your tinnitus could be caused by grinding you do at night which would be your body 'searching' for the wisdoms that were taken from you... your body would grind at night to try and get your nonexistant wisdoms to come into contact with one another... its like having a phantom limb.

My advice to you is to chew a lot of gum to teach your body that those teeth no longer exist. Make sure you dont wake up clenching. good luck.

the more white noise you listen to the quicker the nerves will be retrained to respond to the frequencies that are missing

not my fault your brain isnt as plastic as mine

Thanks user, hopefully it'll get better

I let my wisdom teeth come in, one got infected and the whole side if my face blew up swollen and I spent a couple of days in the hospital

backup for what? chewing? you can't chew with those teeth

Thanks, trying that right now.

probably because I still grind/clench senpai, i've got other things going on with my teeth besides the wisdom stuff. im sure the ringing will go away once i get everything worked out.

the body is very good at healing as long as you put it on the right path first... its a problem that may be solveable, just stay aware and apply critical thinking and you'll figure it out

that sucks
wonder why wisdom teeth are so prone to infection . did you have good hygiene before?

>can't chew with wisdom teeth
people actually believe this

because we didn't eat like pigs

hes a shark
they slide into place when others fall out
fucking roaches

I once had to have my wisdom teeth removed, they all got infected and were in extreme fucking pain.

all 4 wisdom tooth master race reporting in

they hurt a bit when coming out but apart from that i dont see any reason to pay to get them out

you're right, i'm sorry

>they slide into place when others fall out
nah, they are supposed to all work if you're a hyperborean aryan nordic then you'd understand this

pic related

>Pompeii Romans
>Aryan
m8

i was obviously being a retard
i know how they work
i never had any removed

People who get their wisdom teeth taken out might as well get circumcised while they're at it.

Thousands of dentists nearly went broke when fluoride was added to drinking water.
Half these guys have boat payments, they had to think of something.

totally depends on your jaw/teeth/genetics

some people never have issues with them

>tonsils?! why would you ever need those!?

i wish i still had the x-rays. the dentist i went to (first time i'd seen one in over 10 years) wasn't sure what was going on with my teeth (no cavities though!) and just referred me to a surgeon. bottom ones were sideways, with one partially erupted and rotting. top ones were growing in random directions into my sinuses.

got put under, whole thing took 40 minutes although i was scheduled for 2 hours. no pain, no drysocket, nothing. even got hydrocodone AND percocets. didn't need it since i had totally recovered after 36 hours or so. felt like afterwards. my jaw looks sharper (bottom teeth were giving me fat cheeks), my voice isn't nasally anymore, i can breath through my nose at night... 5 years on and even my bottom teeth are straightening out.

not everyone is so lucky and i think it has a lot to do with needing it done and seeing the right dentist/surgeon. anyone about to get their wisdom teeth done should absolutely research the surgeon. mine was head of the dentistry faculty at a large state university.

I got mine out because of serious cavities.

>26yo

It hurt, but wounds have healed.

>burgers get ripped off by doctors wanting to make more money
why am I not surprised
you people also pay like ten times as much for any medical procedure as in any other country

burgerland=third world

No. I've still got all my wisdom teeth and they've all come out fine.
