I was raised a Mormon but at 14 decided I didn't believe in God and rebelled against my parents.Started fucking the high school girls who wanted my dick and smoking pot. Also did all the little stupid stuff I wasn't allowed to do (drink caffeine, jack off ect.) Anyway I'm 22 now and I definitely realized by now how ignorant I was to say "God isn't real." Obviously God is real, because the universe is real. Whether God be the programmers of universe.exe or simply a manifestation of truth, or w/e he truly is.. I know he's real. I also recognize that the practices of Christians (Mormons are Christians for those who don't already know) are less degenerate. What I personally think is that God doesn't want me to do things that could potentially harm me, and thus future generations as well.

But I don't believe in some church practices such as tithing. And half the time I hear someone talk in church I think, "damn I really don't care I know that already" and also I hate going to church in general. So question is can I become religious in the sense I want to live a non degenerate lifestyle but also not be a tithing cuck?

God is real but Mormonism is wrong. Traditional Catholicism is the only way. Peace.

The only real difference is that Mormons have a more restricted lifestyle and they believe Jesus and the holly spirit to be separate from God himself.

If we're looking at it from a point of trying to be less degenerate in this life believe me Mormons do a better job than traditional Catholics..

>So question is can I become religious in the sense I want to live a non degenerate lifestyle but also not be a tithing cuck?

I have the same feeling my dude, I hate all the degeneracy I've done in the past, and some that I still partake into (masturbation, porn - although I am cutting it off slowly it is hard to resist and fall back into it, I will get there) but that's what being a Christian is about, living and beliving Jesus message. I still haven't found a church that I am certain they are following Jesus, as most of the churches here in London are either new age hell holes, refugee lovers or nigerian dance halls. It's hard man, I really want to be around other Christians but I just can't find them. Just live your life under Christian values and sort your room.

The goal is not to be "less degenerate". The goal is to know, love and serve God in this world, and be happy with Him forever in the next.

Thank you this was very insightful. I will say a prayer for both of us that we find serenity!

The thing that turned me to spirituality is the law of one. According to it all is one and we are individualized portions of infinity trying to understand itself through the illusion of separation, and through our free will.
It is not judgmental or dogmatic I think, because it recognizes the divinity in everyone and that each is unique and different, and still the one creator.
Good luck op!

See its shit like this that makes me think that established churches are all a scam.

What the fuck are you even talking about.

The universe is an illusion.

But yes, you can hold whatever beliefs you want without others telling you how to go about it. I havent attended a church in decades, but I am quite spiritual and have knowledge of many religions, philospophies, occult practices, etc.

I think the difference is at a personal level. Will you seek and learn and grow on your own? Are you self aware and a good judge of your own character? OR... Do you need a group learning environment with support and fellowship?

All areas of life contain truth and fallacy, harmony and discord, the way and detours. Your path should inspire you and leave you with a desire for change and more learning. Choose something that brings that to your life and resonates as truth to you personally.

I hope it was! Please do, thanks man!

I'm not sure what constitutes degeneracy in your purview, and becoming Christian for the sole purpose of "avoiding degeneracy" is a non-starter imho. I'm just telling you the ontological purpose of your existence.

>Mormons are Christians for those who don't already know
Ah, no, Mormon's are heretics who believe they can become God themselves and get their own world to play God with. Nice people and all, but y'all going to hell if you don't ask God for forgiveness and acknowledge the Trinity and Christ.

Stop being a Mormon. It's a Satanic cult. Ultimately, religion is honesty and the Universe is the church. You can't be honest and be a Mormon, it's impossible. It's impossible because you have to spout the blasphemous lies of Joseph Smith and company.

This!

You don't need someone else to tell you what you believe.

Well, maybe you do.

But I don't.

Mormonism is heresy, just as Protestants are. If you want to have a relationship with Jesus then Catholicism is the only true faith. And pray about your tithing concerns, try to discern why you want to disobey proper Christian law. You have some disordered beliefs that tempt you to sin.

Catholicsm is an empty vessel. No authority to officiate in sacred ordinances neccesary for our advancement, no living word of God, horribly pagan, they worship like 20 saints along with the "TRINITY" so they're hypocrotical and clueless. Their belief of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are wrong too. Mormons belief we can be like God yes but only if we let Christ atones for our sins by following him. Mornonism is like a scientific Christian denomination. We know our place in the universe and know where we are going. We make perfect sense of science, Law and the need for Christ.

oh please. mormons are white af. that's all that matters. forget this jesus crap.

That's why you constantly lie about the origins of the church? Mormons wouldn't know a prophet from a parrot. Scientific religion my ass. You're idiots.

You just seem to get information from dishonest sources. You probably couldn't tell me much about the church without matt stone or trey parker. You are an idiot.

Muslims sometimes accuse Christians of having 3 gods, though this is just a blatant misunderstanding of the Trinity. Mormons, on the other hand, do actually believe in 3 gods since they say that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are different in substance from the Father. Mormons also believe they can become gods and get their own planets. Mormonism is a polytheistic corruption of Christianity, Mormons are not Christians.

Yeah I guess.

Until you get to your weird ass underwear and the golden plates in a sack.

>God is real, because the universe is real

Here, you delusional twat. Everything I need to know about Mormonism can be learned from watching Waterboy. I'm a muh-muh-muh-Mormon. I gotta wooden spoon.

As far as I can tell, Mormons are the saviors of the white race. Traditional values, want lots of kids, and practically see the US Constitution as a holy document. So some of their specific beliefs are a little wonky, at the end of the day who gives a shit? Their priorities are in the right places, which is more than I can say for every other Christian denomination. I would love to get a couple Mormon wives and have like 9 kids.

>Obviously God is real, because the universe is real.
Justify this claim. Why must everything that exists necessarily have a creator?

>I know he's real.
No you don't. You simply believe that he is real.

Where is the evidence? Surely after 2,000 years of miracles, there would be a shred of physical evidence?

>I also recognize that the practices of Christians (Mormons are Christians for those who don't already know) are less degenerate.
Christians are less degenerate, okay. I accept that. But what does that have to do with proving that Jesus Christ really resurrected from the dead?

If he didn't really die and resurrect to save us from sin, then there's absolutely NO reason to believe in him. And if there's no physical evidence, then you can't "know" anything.

>But I don't believe in some church practices such as tithing.
What's so hard to believe in? Churches are man-made institutions that need money to operate.

> So question is can I become religious in the sense I want to live a non degenerate lifestyle but also not be a tithing cuck?
Some might argue that voluntary self-delusion is degenerate in and of itself.

How can the church survive without the tithe? How can religion survive?
