Anyone else here right wing, but really tired of working so damn much? It seems like life is getting progressively more expensive and depressing. The cost of living right now just seems insane, most one bedroom apartments are so expensive and wages aren't keeping up. Plus, it seems like with new technologies we are working more, not less.

I don't consider myself a socialist but I fucking hate working so much. It's starting to seem less and less necessary; it really does feel like we could easily have universal healthcare and lower rent by now.

This reads like a leftypol shill thread

Get back to work, goy.

yeah, cost of living is fucked, that's been demonstrated before, but that has more to do with (((them))) then with work itself. if anything, work is easier and more potentially fulfilling now than it ever was - it's the lack of healthy corporate culture and complete clusterfuck we call an economy that stop it from feeling as such.

Not really, no. I work in IT and I'm basically paid to browse Sup Forums and fuck about with Unreal Engine all day.
Also excessive healthgibs from oilbux.

There are already less jobs than workers, with automation this is only going to increase.

There are more resources in space than we could ever hope to use.

Regardless of political opinions, a transition to a post scarcity economy is required, but both wings fight against it (the left want to protect jobs (even when there is no need for them), and the right don't want to give money to people who don't work (even when there is nothing for them to do))

I don't mind working at all. Even very labor intensive jobs. I just hate working at jobs that have no meaning.

>not living rent-free with grandparents
>not having thoughtful, generous parents and grandparents on mother/father sides to have the foresight to save and invest for you (before you were born), while setting assets and property for you to inherit
>not working in the transportation industry, 8 months a year, earning $60k+
>not hunting game nor growing a subsistence garden to be a tad independent
>living in the city (You)
Kys leftypol

i know that feel OP

Working sucks if you're not even interested in buying shit, you get taxes out the ass if you earn more, and don't even want to buy stupid crap every 2nd day.

And sitting in an office for 8 hours every. single. fucking. day. gets old REALLY quickly.

And the only thing that shitheads can say is "hurr be glad you don't live in Africa, be grateful, it could be so much worse" while they work 80 hours overtime in their shitty offices and pay half of their fucking income as taxes.

I work in IT too, but we aren't allowed to go on websites unrelated to work (they check) and we can't even browse our phones because if they see it, its a problem.

Maybe you should go on leftypol and let the people there challenge your views.

>t.non property owner

>*GACK GACK* THANK YOU BOSS FOR GIVING ME A JOB AND YOUR CU-*GACK GACK GACK*

you want niggers and such to not get welfare and have to work and contribute, obviously

then we need to pull our military out of the rest of the world. don't think of morality and don't even think of the money itself (trillions, by the way) but the manpower and materials used for these missions. these men could be in the US, building things with the materials we have to send them for their missions, in the factories where we build the weapons. we could have all that stuff they make.

our private sector is the most marvelous generator of wealth the world has ever known. but how "private" is it? the state manipulates how it functions, both blatantly and covertly, through taxes, regulations, subsidies, and (((diversity))). the point of a market's mechanism is that it constantly refocuses our resources to make what its people want over time.

if that market is persistently undermined by state action, then our labor isn't being directed towards its best usage. even if we're all working, we're making stuff that people don't want. the things on the shelves and the services offered won't improve our lives

we get what OP is describing. we work and work but we don't get properly rewarded.

Well you are felling the effects of the illness now, but your selected cute is wrong. You don't need a government network of services to care for you. What you need is Monetary Policy reform to restore wealth and prosperity for all now just the elite.

Any fiscal policy you select that doesn't include a monetary policy change is just moving the deck chairs around on a sinking ship. Yes some combinations of the deck chairs are better but that's not the real problem.

quit complaining or i'll tell mr. shekelberg that ur a commie

>not working in a field, maintainining society
>what is electrical maintenance
>what is no such thing as unproductive boss
>not earning passive income
>being a pleb
Are you a collegefag or officefag??

I wouldn't mind it as much if the government wouldn't immediately sack 42% of it to pay for some low life's drug addiction.

I ask myself why the progressives - the technological progressives - failed to deliver on their promise of freeing man from labour. More and more technology introduced and more machines but the work doesnt get less only the poor get fewer jobs thats the only thing it ever does.

Seems like progressives disappoint no matter the field they work in.

Work harder and smarter, loser, the dominance hierarchy is real and if you're not at the top you're nothing. Clean up your room and go from there, you live in a world where you can get a million dollars per year for just talking shit on Youtube, so if you can't there's obviously something wrong with you on a genetic level. If you were really right wing, you wouldn't mind your body being used to prop up the people higher above you on the societal pyramid. Eugenics, bitch! Or are you a filthy commie?

>>not hunting game nor growing a subsistence garden to be a tad independent

Out of curiosity, is that actually worth it? From a financial side I mean, not from the "feels great to be self-sufficient" side.
Food is so cheap that I find it hard to imagine that doing subsistence gardening does anything but increase the workload you have to do to get your food.

Working full time is only really worth it if you are a materialistic marketing victim and get your life fulfillment out of buying things you don't actually need.
Otherwise you just keep piling up money and watch the government take more and more of it.

93 lbs of game meat in freezer, many root vegetables in pest-free secured garden, multiple lemon/orange/tangerine trees and EZ tomatoes/cucumber/grapes hanging on porch. Not hard. About 30% of my family's annual produce consumption. Can grow way more if necessary and economic collapse.

Finally. Someone who is actually pilled.

The only progressives I appreciate are Henry Wallace (made farmers great again) & Russ Feingold (lone senator to stand against patriot act)

Extensive social programs. If your employer is already paying out of the ass for all that shit, he also wants maximum productivity out of you.
If there's some new advancement that lowers the amount of time you have to put into finishing a project he'll just assign more projects to you.

Those policies produce insane running costs that are completely decoupled from your actual productivity, so obviously the employer has the motivation to get as much profits out of you as possible.
On the one hand because you being less productive does not mean that those costs sink and it could ruin him, on the other hand because you being more productive doesn't actually mean that you get more money so it's more profit for him.
My favorite jobs were those where I got paid per piece/task. At least there it makes an actual difference to you if you are good at something or not.

Sounds neat, I kinda envy people who have the place for that. Can't wait to move to a more rural area where space isn't expensive as fuck.

>Americans think their cost of living is high

Come to WorstCaseOntario and you'll see how good you have it

>Calls himself Right Wing
>Against making a honest living

gtfo libcuck.

>you cannot be right wing if you complain about the socialist policies that led you to this point

>Calls himself rightwing
>Starts with liberal crybaby 'whaa whaa whaa, works to hard! Whaa whaa whaa! gimme moniez!'

This place is getting infested with liberal cucks.

Nigga before Hitler rose to power the Deutschmark was 4,200,000,000 to 1 US Dollar.

Things have to get much worse before we are able to fix it with a superior system.

Of course. I work 40 hours a week+5 to 7 unpaid in order to keep my menial job. Taxes and deductions take out nearly a third of my pay, which none go into savings of any sort.

I hope next life I'm born into wealth, instead of having to support my lazy parents until I was almost 30.
