In the 70's my dad took me horse back riding in Mongolia.
He said it was more expensive then when we stayed in nice hotels in big cities.
It looked no different to undeveloped Canadian praries/foothills, to me. I did not even remember that I had been to Mongolia until my dad brought it up, my memories of riding there melded into many memories of riding horses here when I was young.
