Polish Actions Against Germans Before WWII

I see too many threads arguing what happened before WWII to Germans in Poland. The Poles claim they 'dindu nuffin' and the National Socialists and others on this board claim Danzig and Bromberg and German massacres and such. Neither is completely correct. SKIP TO THE POLAND SECTION OF THIS BOOK AND JUST READ IT. It won't take long, seriously.

Forgot to include link. My bad.

Read the first page, it's factually wrong and completely misinterpreted the Greater Poland uprising of 1918 so I stopped reading.

It also claims that Poles and Germans lived peacefully which is a ridiculous statement since the German government was doing everything it could save for genocide to eradicate Polish culture, language, traditions. Calling it "peaceful" is something only a stormnigger could believe in.

>One detail disagrees with my worldview so I ignore the rest of the content.
Come on now. Read the rest of it and tell me how much of that is incorrect as well if you think it is.

I already did my friend. If the author cannot be bothered to make sure his first few sentences are factually correct why should I bother reading the rest of his drivel?

He tries to impose his worldview onto me not the other way around. I'm just stating facts.

But did you read the rest of it? That comment concerning Germans and Poles living together in relative peace in Posen is his opinion. There is much more damning content later on. Are those things true or not.

Was Hitler really playing to win or was he pulling for the Allies?

Of course Hitler was in it to win it but he wanted to avoid war with the Western powers at all costs so he ingratiated himself to them as much as he could without losing respectability in Germany. If you read the book you will see numerous sourced examples of Hitler's unflinching willingness to cooperate with the allies and find diplomatic solutions and they admit that much (In private though). The entire book is very informative and I very much recommend it as required reading for all Sup Forumsacks

Poles dindu nuffing, but they should have. As long as the G*rman blight exists, we are not safe.

The evidence for that was extracted at Nuremberg from one man under dubious circumstances just like the rest of the 'confessions' to the Holohoax. I'm sure they are 100% reliable, yes sir. Also:
>Wikipedia
Go back to plebbit. Additionally, I am 100% sure you didn't even read a word of what I provided.

deeppoliticsforum.com/forums/showthread.php?1092-Operation-Himmler#.WYm5szxki70

I am well aware of how the plan was supposedly carried out. Too bad Naujocks was the only one left to tell the story to allied authorities. I'm sure there was absolutely no chance that the allies extracted a confession out of him in the same manner they made Rudolf Hoss confess to genocidal activities at Auschwitz. And how odd it is that Hitler doesn't even mentioned Gleiwitz as a justification for his decision to undertake military action against Poland if it was as important as you claim it to be in providing a justification for invading Poland. No, he continues on to cite the months of provocation and agitation Poland has directed towards Germany, all of which can be found in that link I provided. I read your link, now will you read mine.

Naujocks wasn't the only one.

>To make the attack seem more convincing, the Germans used human corpses to pass them off as Polish attackers. They murdered Franciszek Honiok, a 43-year-old unmarried German Silesian Catholic farmer known for sympathizing with the Poles. He had been arrested the previous day by the Gestapo. He was dressed to look like a saboteur, then killed by lethal injection, given gunshot wounds, and left dead at the scene so that he appeared to have been killed while attacking the station. His corpse was subsequently presented to the police and press as proof of the attack.[4]
In addition to Honiok, several prisoners from the Dachau concentration camp[2] were drugged, shot dead on the site, and their faces disfigured to make identification impossible.[3][5] The Germans referred to them by the code phrase "Konserve" ("canned goods"). For this reason, some sources incorrectly refer to the incident as "Operation Canned Goods".[6] In an oral testimony at the trials, Erwin von Lahousen stated that his division of the Abwehr was one of two that were given the task of providing Polish uniforms, equipment, and identification cards, and that he was later told by Wilhelm Canaris that people from concentration camps had been disguised in these uniforms and ordered to attack the radio stations.[7]

>Danzig
No massacres (of "58,000" Germans TOP KEK) happened. In fact, the Polish minority was persecuted during the 1930's by the 90% German majority in the Free City of Danzig, which had German leadership.
>Bromberg
Happened only DURING THE INVASION OF POLAND and was started by German Volksdeutsche Selbstschutz, causing ONLY hundreds of BOTH German and Polish deaths.

Another one is Carl Ossietzky who gave proofs that Germans were preparing for war since the 20s

>Carl von Ossietzky (3 October 1889 – 4 May 1938) was a German pacifist and the recipient of the 1935 Nobel Peace Prize for his work in exposing the clandestine German re-armament.[1] He was convicted of high treason and espionage in 1931 after publishing details of Germany's violation of the Treaty of Versailles by rebuilding an air force, the predecessor of the Luftwaffe, and training pilots in the Soviet Union.

>It also claims that Poles and Germans lived peacefully which is a ridiculous statement since the German government was doing everything it could save for genocide to eradicate Polish culture, language, traditions
This. Fucking dumb Germans with their dindu nuffing bullshit.
Bombing and burning down Warsaw: A OK
Dresden getting Harris'd: MUH GENOCIDE
I hope the fucking refugees outbreed Germans.

Poland was NOT some helpless victim i hate this meme. I also understand this resentment against Germany. But Poland killed lots of Jews. Put commies in camps under Pilduski. They tried to undermine the USSR through Prometheism and wanted their own "Greater Poland" through the Intermarium.

They were just another central european power trying to find a place in the sun. They lost short term, will win long term

Any massacre of Germans you're mentioning did not happen. But it should have happened. And by God it will happen again!

>and the National Socialists and others on this board claim Danzig and Bromberg

The Bromberg massacre happened AFTER the german invasion of poland.

and another thing revisionist won't tell you, is that many of the involved Volksdeutsche were in reality part of a poorly trained Pro-Nazi paramilitary force called the Selbstschutz who attacked the organized Polish Army during the German invasion and got the shit wrecked out of them as a result. When the Wehrmacht came across this, they reported their deaths back to Nazi leadership in Germany who used it for propaganda purposes ("muh innnocent defenseless German civilians hacked to death by Polish barbarians") to justify their invasion of Poland that had already begun via false flag (Gleiwitz incident; Operation Himmler, look it up) and subsequent reprisals against the Polish populace once the nation was erased from the world map for the next 6 years and turned into a new entity known as the Generalgouvernement.

>b-b-but muh illegal occupation of Danzig by the P*les!!!

Actually, Poland never owned Danzig during the pre-war time. It was a free city under administration by the League of Nations.

The war started because Hitler wanted the Danzig corridor. When Poland refused to just hand the area over as had been the case with Czechia ceding the Sudetenland and getting entirely annexed in the progress while the world remained silent, Hitler invaded.

>But Poland killed lots of Jews.
What BS.
>Put commies in camps under Pilduski.
And that's a bad thing?
>They tried to undermine the USSR through Prometheism
How does that undermine Poland being a victim of 1939? And it's happening today.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Seas_Initiative

Jagiellonian dynasty sphere of influence 2.0. Most of the countries in that territory are positive towards it. In fact, leaders from Latvia and Croatia have accused Poland for not doing enough to be the leader of central Europe, like it used to be in the past.

carolynyeager.net/gleiwitz-“false-flag”-incident-pure-fiction
You mean the Wiemar government was preparing for war since the 20's. Or how Hitler came to power in 1933 but this guy was charged with treason in 1931. And what does building up the Luftwaffe have to do with preparing for war. Germany didn't have ANY airforce. In fact if you read the book I presented you'll constantly see Hitler making deals with the allies to get permission to build an army or airforce at only half the capacity of their own.
>Danzig and Bromberg
Can't you read. I said Danzig never happened and that Bromberg was after the invasion.
The bombing of Warsaw in 1939 was Poland's fault. The Poles declared it a fortress city and were asked three times to surrender. They knew the consequences under international law if they didn't surrender. And they paid for it. The destruction of Warsaw in 1944 however is a different story. I consider that wrong morally but right strategically.

Poles got played by the eternal anglo and sided against Germany like the fools they were.

>The Bromberg massacre happened AFTER the german invasion of poland.
Someone else who can't read. I AGREE WITH YOU. I SAID THAT.
>Poland never owned Danzig during the pre war time
Again, I'm very much aware. Why won't you people read the damn link I provided.

1. I can't read the whole chapter before this thread expires.
2. this part is obvious bullshit:
> The general mobilization Poland announced on August 30 was another ominous sign for Hitler. Feeling threatened both to the east and to the west, he opted to strike first. One could perhaps judge his decision in the spirit of a maxim of Prussia’s 18th Century monarch Friedrich the Great. He declared that in war, the real aggressor is he who forces the enemy to fire the first shot.

Poland mobilized because Germany's ARMY WAS READY AND INVASION WAS IMMINENT. the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact was signed already on the 23rd, and it gave Hitler the diplomatic freedom to start the invasion.

>With the surprise signing of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact on 23 August, the result of secret Nazi-Soviet talks held in Moscow, Germany neutralized the possibility of Soviet opposition to a campaign against Poland and war became imminent. In fact, the Soviets agreed not to aid France or the UK in the event of their going to war with Germany over Poland and, in a secret protocol of the pact, the Germans and the Soviets agreed to divide Eastern Europe, including Poland, into two spheres of influence; the western ⅓ of the country was to go to Germany and the eastern ⅔ to the Soviet Union.
>The German assault was originally scheduled to begin at 04:00 on 26 August. However, on 25 August, the Polish-British Common Defense Pact was signed as an annex to the Franco-Polish Military Alliance. In this accord, Britain committed itself to the defence of Poland, guaranteeing to preserve Polish independence. At the same time, the British and the Poles were hinting to Berlin that they were willing to resume discussions—not at all how Hitler hoped to frame the conflict. Thus, he wavered and postponed his attack until 1 September
> one exception: on the night of 25–6 August, a German sabotage group . made an attack on the Jablunkov Pass and Mosty railway station

Those were and probably still are the rules under the International Rules of Engagement. It's sad but its a reality. Also a false dichotomy.
>Wielun
If I remember correctly German intelligence placed an infantry division and cavalry brigade in the city.
>Frampol
I have never read Frampol before but if that is true then I would consider it morally wrong.
Part of the reason the M-R Pact was signed in first place was a put pressure on Poland to come back to the diplomatic table which they had outright refused as the chapter tells you. Hitler literally sent the plan to the British hoping they would show it to the Polish to encourage them to come back to diplomacy. Britain did not show Poland the plan. Why could that be I wonder?

>consider it morally wrong.
it was war you shitposter, entirety of it was morally wrong, germany attacked us for simply existing, tried to eradicate all of Poland, occupied us, and less that 100 years later, you shitpost and attack Poland for defending itself
for fucks sake Joey, go ride a kangaroo, eat some vegemite, and stop shitposting

>Part of the reason the M-R Pact was signed in first place was a put pressure on Poland to come back to the diplomatic table
Your brain is hallucinating. You are interpreting the facts in a highly biased generous way to Hitler and his Social Darwinist regime. Their belief system was that nations have to kill other nations and take their land IN ORDER TO SURVIVE. THAT WAS THEIR IDEOLOGY. So your PEACEFUL HITLER meme is INCOHERENT with their other pre-war statements.
Your reasoning is bottomlessly stupid that wasting words on you is useless. The situation is such: me and another criminal draft an agreement to divide your possessions. The next day we enter your home, kill you and take your stuff. AND YOU WANT TO CLAIM this was all my plan to force you to be nicer to you and I never really wanted to steal your stuff?
You wouldn't make that error if you were the victim of a robbery. But since you are a psychopath who does not care about other people, you do say this about Poland's tragedy.

Hitler's actions are a tried and tested method of forcing opposing nations back to the diplomacy table. If anything it reflects Hitler's desperation to seek a diplomatic solution before military force had to be applied. I couldn't care less how nice or not it was, it is an international diplomatic strategy and Hitler applied it to Poland, that's the way the world works. And you call me heavily biased towards Hitler but all this emphatic screeching on behalf of Poland really does more to show your biases does it not? And that's understandable since its your country in the throws of others political games, mainly the allies, but that's the way the world works whether you like or not. Call me a psychopath if you wish but if more people analysed history through apathetic lens then applying emotion to every decision carried out, history would be much easier to interpret.

>You directed your comments to the OP
Not really.
>Also a false dichotomy.
Your brain is false.

It's pretty interesting to read how some people dismiss one of the most documented events in history as a hoax yet buy into literal nazi propaganda about muh Polish attrocities on Germans. It would almost seem like they have double standards of evidence...
