It has come to our attention that shills have organized a misinformation paganism discord, complete with drug taking, porn posting, and other degeneracy. Their goal is to gain members, which they do by inviting our new members who are often new to paganism, into their discord so they can fill their head with lies and misinformation. In a way, they leech members from us. Everyone from this discord that is also in our discord has been banned. If anyone knows anything more about this discord, notify us immediately. Here is some of what we gathered from their server.

Well since I've got quite a bit of Zoro and Amerind collections, I'd kindly request dropping my library link a second time.
Was nice to hang with these guys for a couple of days. Sadly there were no practicing pagans on the discord, unless you consider lighting a candle "practicing". Most discussions revolved around who is part of the aryan race and who is not. But there was no discussion about how to celebrate/honor the gods nor was there any advice to be found on how to connect with the gods but some shitty FAQ and wikipedia links. Appearantly Paganism has nothing to do with Shamanism. If youre truly seeking knowledge, stay away!

You were not advocating for medical use like the war veteran which we had no issue with, you were advocating for recreation and taking shrooms for your ""spiritually experiences"" like an absolute degenerate.

Can you demonstrate a physical addiction mechanism for the tryptamine class of hallucinogens?
Most people can't stand to take them more than once every couple of months and are rendered highly ineffective if taken more than once a week or so.

You just want to hear want you want to hear, i did not advocate for shit. Before we actually got into a conversation to make it clear what we're talking about you guys got incredibly agitated, there was no possible way to make this conversation positive or constructive, so to end it was the only choice there was. The Veteran left because he noticed that the only reason you did not straight up call him out as degenerate shill faggot is because of his honorable service to his community. As the conversation continued without you guys we also touched on the topic that there is no actual need for substances in case you're trying to have a spiritual experience. Extatic dances or isolation (tank/meditation/prayer) are also very valid options to induce spiritual experiences and to imply that things like this did not happen in pagan culture is ignorant and wrong. To claim that there was no effort made in Pagan culture (any faith basicly) to seek an altered state of mind is ridicolus.
And lets not forget the fact that there obviously is a medical use for several different hallucinogens and to denounce substance use in Pagan culture is still purely fueled by ignorance.
All youre trying to do it seems is looking for an Antithesis towards Christianity to form some sort of common aryan myth without actually engaging or practicing the faith you proclaim to adhere. The Core of the Pagan Community was and always will be the Shaman, not some Larpers overseas claiming to own the truth about their lost heritage. I'll warn that it's difficult to get a working reconstruction of even some well known shit, let alone obscure or specific practices, and much of the Nordic (?) material between the poorly recorded ancient shit and hostile/christianized accounts are in the Grimorie tradition which leaves a lot of the figuring in the hands of the operator.
In some cases it would likely be more fruitful to go traditional witchcraft (yes this is actually a thing in the historical record, see Grimoire of Arthur Gauntlet) or late neoplatonic Grimoire specialist.

It actually appears some of the tradcraft groups fed info into Gardner's group. The history is a bit more complex than than most sources imply but yes, I am referring to traditional folk magic praxes as opposed to the BTW of Gardner.
