Also keep in mind that about 700-1,000 people actually physically showed up. These are people who are willing to show their faces and travel up to 10 hours put themselves in physical danger for white nationalism. Think of how many people just simply agree or sympathize with the movement.

1. Political group created by Richard Spencer
2. Term used to describe alternative right/far right political views that differ from both neocon perspectives and libertarian perspectives.
Spencer named his group this on purpose to gain visibility, but they were always seperate. When you heard the media (prior to today) talking about the "alt-right" they meant the 2nd definition. Most people of "alt-right" perspective aren't in/give a shit about Spencer's autistic stormfag group.

Spencer is leading white nationalism. He sets up the rallies, creates content, invests his money, and engages with the media.
