To be fair the US has created an unworkable situation after 50 years of an official diversity immigration policy. Altering one's population with tens of millions (45 million legal immigrants since 1965 to be exact + ~30 million illegal immigrants) of foreign transplants is something that a hostile foreign power would try to force on its enemies. No competent or responsible state with inflict it on ITSELF. But that's just what the US did. I spend a lot of time contemplating the benefits of a permanently weakened America. I have an emotional hangup over seeing it end, though I can't honestly say I feel kinship with the majority of the population anymore (what even IS an American at this point). I came to the conclusion that the nation died a slow death a long time ago. We live in Zombie America.
