>tfw you're posting about British politics on an anime image site alongside a demon

I would see my country subjugated, oppressed, and stripped of its sovereignty before I disparage the rightful leader of Christendom, our Pope.
Nolan Foster
It's not me. He's an old friend who also presumably has posted here.

If anyone says that the blessed Apostle Peter was not established by the Lord Christ as the chief of all the apostles, and the visible head of the whole militant Church, or, that the same received great honour but did not receive from the same our Lord Jesus Christ directly and immediately the primacy in true and proper jurisdiction: let him be anathema.
If anyone says that it is not from the institution of Christ the Lord Himself, or by divine right that the blessed Peter has perpetual successors in the primacy over the universal Church, or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in the same primacy, let him be anathema.
If anyone thus speaks, that the Roman Pontiff has only the office of inspection or direction, but not the full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the universal Church, not only in things which pertain to faith and morals, but also in those which pertain to the discipline and government of the Church spread over the whole world; or, that he possesses only the more important parts, but not the whole plenitude of this supreme power; or that this power of his is not ordinary and immediate, or over the churches altogether and individually, and over the pastors and the faithful altogether and individually: let him be anathema.
Xavier Martin
Is Rachel Riley legitimately smart or is she just a presenter?

There's actually something eerie about how standardised our childhoods were that we can all relate to this image very closely. Nonetheless it did give me the feels.

I don't doubt her mental maths capabilities but I doubt we'll be hearing her name cited in mathematics papers anytime soon. Smart enough to do sums very quickly but not a maths theorist.

My first wank was in a very cold bath when I was around 11. Back then I had never pulled my foreskin all the way back, and was too afraid to do so, so what I did was create a little airpocket and pinched the end (couldn't get a grip on it you see) and just sort of mashed at it.
I didn't use any material and I can't remember whether I thought of something in particular.
John Howard
Aww Eddie's mum is in a relationship

kek - I was watching some follow up videos after the Charlottesville protests, and his was one of the videos that came up. In my defence, I was cooking at the time, so needed something less intellectually substantial on the information front.

A Conservative MP has said she would quit the party should Jacob Rees-Mogg ever become its leader.
Heidi Allen said while Rees-Mogg was “fabulous in his own right” he was “not the future” of the Tory party that she was “desperate to find”.
The South Cambridgeshire MP told BBC Radio 4′s Westminster Hour on Sunday evening: “I couldn’t be in the Conservative Party if he was my leader.”
“That’s nothing nasty to dislike Jacob at all,” she said. “He is incredibly charming and very generous and has was very welcoming to me as a new MP, we often sit quite close together.”
But she added: “He is not the modern face of the Tory party that we are desperate, or I am certainly and colleagues are certainly desperate, to prove is out there.”
---------
Heidi is one of the Tories who voted to bring in more "refugees", by the way. One of that loathsome Blairite breed of Tories whose aim is basically to make the Labour and Tory parties identical.

Very few people hold deep, strong, well thought out and reasoned convictions on any issue, our minds are but machines that react to their environments. In Northern Ireland Catholics are progressive on these issues because there must be a division between Catholics and Protestants on most things because their minds by necessity create an us Vs them mentality, and since Protestants are conservative on these issues they must be the opposite, even though it makes no sense in the bigger picture of their religion. In the Republic Catholics are conservative on these issues because there's no need for contrarianism.

You speak a load of shite That's as true as Anglicans being better than Catholics

The Riddlers are much more creepier. One of the best musical intros though.
I have to admit I'm not nearly as well read up on the history of norn iron as I should be, I know what has happened to some extent but I don't really know why, are there any impartial or near to impartial books?
