Bronypill me on bronies

Since I'm a Sup Forums fag and we've been merged with these bronies. I want you bronies to tell me why you're a brony. I'm curious, I also want you to try to jew me.

>I also want you to try to jew me.
No.

I watch pone because it makes me happy. That's all I got. It's very content dense and things that happen in the show are easy to run with and take to hilarious extremes.

One of the first memes to take off from the show, for example, was Trollestia: the idea that the Sun Goddess Princess Queen is an active troll who likes to fuck with people.

They all just want to fuck that horse

there

It's a red pilled show.
>promotes conservatism, family values, and individualism
>opposes socialism and egalitarianism (had a commie character who was portrayed as a villain)
>teaches children good morals and to have a strong work ethic
>no fags or trannies like literally every other childrens show on TV these days

Watching MLP is one of the most red pilled things you can do for yourself.

we just like seeing cute ponys doing cute things

Then stay here. You can become an actual hero who takes part in saving western civilization. In a year you will wake up and find that you are fit, well-read, and understand global politics in a way that 99.9% of the population never will. That's the real Sup Forums. The memes are a cover for the redpilling of a generation.

>inb4 autistic LARPING

>see pretty ponies; ''some fags actually like this lol''
>bored one day, get curious
>see first two episodes
>meh maybe one more
>before i even realize, i'm on ep10
>can't stop watching

That's how it went. I didn't even like most episodes.

strawpoll.me/12655816/r

Are there any ponies that are also space marines?

It's a cute show.

This is why I dont watch. I actually like old kids cartoon shows and that what it seems like. I would probably enjoy it but theres too much stigmata for me to put it on my computer.

...

The show is charming, genuinely funny, and the characters are memorable as well as highly relateable. The fandom is (generally) amazing with fantastic art, music, literature, discussions, etc. I'm in the fandom because I love it. Give it a try sometime, you might too :)

also, stay the hell off /mlp/

>no fags or trannies like literally every other childrens show on TV these days

warhammer 40k fags hate bronies so bronies automatically incorporate anything that someone who hates them likes into a brony fanart as an insult because horsefuckers realize their own insanity and irony

>check'd
Good for them for not letting PC culture push agendas down their throat like with most tv shows nowadays

You're one of us, why don't you come back tomorrow and be part of the revolution?

...

There was an episode where the main characters go to some distant village and everyone is equal in every way, because of some magic bullshit from commie pony. Turns out making everyone equal mean everyone is equally miserable and you take away everything special about someone. Main characters find a way to undo commie magic and almost instantly everyone is happy again.

But I'm already (reasonably) fit, wealthy, well read, and politically savvy.

I don't disagree with everything here, nor do I necessarily agree. I like to lurk here, dig for gold. Just the same as I like to watch the occasional cartoon and meme about it.

The show was that way until season 4-5. Then all the old writers were fired or quit and it became pretty shitty...

I'm being honest with you. After season 4 I stopped watching but I still watch the previous ones

Tomorrow I'll probably go back to lurking and digging around.

And occasionally trying to feed you pollacks the ponypill.

shit, I'm actually curious now
can't believe I'm saying this shit but....
episode name?

One of the recent seasons featured a character named Starlight Glimmer, whom was the antagonist. They ran a society that deemed everyone equal and subjected those whom lived within that society to poor living standards, and actually embodied communism. It was intriguing to see how they portrayed it in a children's show, nonetheless.

I'm interested in the show simply because it does, like said, make me feel happy. I am very fond of the content produced both by the show's creators and the fanbase; and it's also surprisingly fun to politically analyze the setting of the show. It seems like a diarchy that was bent into a federal oligarchy, at this point, if anyone was wondering.

Thanks for being chill, user.

this pol mlp merger was the stupidest idea ever for aprils fools

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cutie_Map

This is the one, user. It's a two part episode. It's not great for amusement value compared to earlier entries, but it does effectively shit ALL OVER marxism in a kid-friendly kind of way.

It gets harder to keep a show fresh and good after 3 seasons
Is it just lefty propaganda at this point or mostly just the same but with less quality?

Starlight Glimmer, the defacto element of communism, initially appears in The Cutie Map Pt. 1, which is S5E01, overall episode 92.

I haven't seen seasons six onward, but it was not infected where I left off.

what's this?
a kids show that shits on the failure that is communism?
I'll give it a watch later, but probably not watch anymore of the show after that

Have you tried watching other, better, shows? Would you make porn and fap to anything or just children's shows?

better to have dignity than to devolve into the shit everyone else fell into I guess

Bit lower quality but there is a bit of lefty shilling in there too.

An episode I was referring to earlier with traps and "Big Mac" he dresses up as a girl so his litter sister can do some event that's made for sister's only long story short he wins and everyone is fine with him being a boy that cross dresses. And has a interest in one of his cousins

Sorry for the shitty Grammer I'm using a phone that loves to auto correct.

that's not as bad as what the writers on other shows are doing
sounds pretty tame when compared to other shows actually
the cousins part tho, I don't know what that's accomplishing
incest in a kids show? really mlp?

this. its more emberassing then being caught watching porn in my opinion.

it's all good

>The show is charming, genuinely funny, and the characters are memorable as well as highly relateable. The fandom is (generally) amazing with fantastic art, music, literature, discussions, etc. I'm in the fandom because I love it. Give it a try sometime, you might too :)
I can only imagine the mental gymnastics required to delude yourself into believing this. Is there no other TV that you've found that has all this criteria but isn't designed for kids and doesn't require you to dress up like a pony and fuck homemade plushie toy flashlights?

It was awkward for a lot of us on mlp too.

Where did the cousin part come from? That's never mentioned in the episode??

Also, the moral is about spending time with your family. Plus, most of the newer episodes are getting more and more redpilled.

>dress up like a pony

Anyone who does this is a faggot brony. Not a horsefucker. They belong in cringe threads alone. End of story.

I've watched other shows. Some of them better by objective measures. Very few have the charisma that MLP has, though. It's really the characters and the content density that do it.

The porn exists because people love the characters. The entire fandom probably just grew out of the way they grow on you.

I wouldn't really consider the Big Mac thing lefty nonsense. He straight up crushed everyone at physical competition because he was a stallion.

He was chastised for taking the event too seriously, but I don't think the show wants to touch too much on a touchy subject. Mac cross dressing was played for laughs.

Just growing to like this show is awkward at first.

>caring what people call you.

You belong in a cringe thread.

Pinkie and applejack are distant cousins. That's canon. Big Mac is applejack brother. And Big Mac has a thing for Marble pie in that very same episode. Ergo that is near incest

>but probably not watch anymore of the show after that
Sure thing m8. Welcome to the ride. See you on /mlp/.

I'm sure it was.
Did they ever do an episode on something you thought they would never do?
Something like a really difficult redpill to swallow?

...yeah they did? When Applebloom introduced "her" to Sweetie Belle and them she introduced her as her cousin Orchard Blossom. Remember, cuz then Rainbow Dash questions it and Big Mac asks how exactly she's related to Scootaloo?

Anyway yeah, it's probably the most non-agenda'd crossdressing in a tv show I've ever seen.

>Anyway yeah, it's probably the most non-agenda'd crossdressing in a tv show I've ever seen.
This. It was about a big brother doing something nice for his little sister. Nothing more nothing less.

Oh, you meant the "him wanting to bang Marble Pie" cousin thing. Nevermind.

I'll come visit you guys just to say hi
little nazi threads every now and then just to keep in touch
Fuck, mfw Hitler lasted 6 years but Sup Forums fell in a day to ponies

Personally? "The cutie map" episode is the only one I thought I wouldn't see from a redpilled standpoint. Since it was clear anti equality and Communism.

The entire village reminds me of North Korea.

We will rebuild together for a brighter future. We can restore traditional vales of wester civilization together.

There's a Nazi OC, but the thread's populated with retards. Reclaim it, Sup Forums, it's yours.

Sup Forums general in /mlp/

The ride will never end, and we all get fresh oc. We will be the Sword, and /mlp/ our shield.
>pic not related

about to watch it right now, should be interesting
if it's as anti-commie as you say it is I'll grow a new appreciation for the show and its writers
>pony North Korea
>kek

...

Yes, you /mlp/ers helped wipe out the last of the reddit shills so maybe we can gas some of the more autistic anons for you.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

The Cutie Map is an obvious one, but there was also Flutter Brutter, an episode about Fluttershy's brother being a neet.

And then there's Tanks For All The Memories, an episode M.A. Larson personally wanted to do about death of a pet and the five stages of grief.

tbqh senpai
Heard all this hubbub and butthurt about the show around 2012, so I figured I'd check it out to see what all the nonsense was about.
Have a slight hate for the community now after going through the thick of it, but like the show.

Those are also good episodes.

I hope you enjoy the episode Sup Forumsack. When the west rises or the next meme war erupts, /mlp/ will stand beside you.

But doesn't it promote egalitarianism and predeterminism to a degree? The notion that you are to do what you are born with, ie 'cutier marks'?
Feeling Pinkie Keen could have also been interpreted as being an appeal for religion in its moral of "sometimes you just can't figure out everything with science"
And there have been plenty of self-insert OCs in the show, even an episode or two guest-written by a make-a-wish kid. Notably that one wheelchair autist who voiced himself.
Oh, and there's Caramel, but that's just an animation issue.

The point of cutie marks on the show is to represent your talent and what you naturally want to strive for, that's why the cutie mark crusaders were such a big part of the show. They didn't know where they fit and try different things until the fight what is right for them. They weren't born into it, they had to discover it.

their marks were a fucking copout though

captcha: nationa coltishall

Except some ponies' names are clearly correlated with their talents: Granny Smith, who's name is literally just "Granny"; Photo Finish; Filthy Rich; Mayor Mare; Trouble Shoes and so on.
It's a shitty little quip, but it shows up here and there. You could have said the same about the CMCs if they weren't fucked up by the writers in S5. Faust planned some shit for them, as clearly seen in that one talent show episode, even for a bit about disability and coping with it for Scootaloo. All of it got thrown out.

>bronies automatically incorporate anything that someone who hates them likes into a brony fanart as an insult
user, it might be a shocker to you, but this fandom did not exist prior to 10.10.10.
All the people in the fandom weren't spontaneously born out of nowhere.
Warhammer fandom is a fandom that existed for a really long time.

If you add 2 and 2 - you'll understand that no one would spend hours to do non-paid work for "an insult". They just happen to like both things.

What would you rather watch, liberal pushing obnoxious Seth McFaggot and his Shows which reminds you how fucked we all are in the world, or a show that is full of magic and adventure that allows you to escape for one moment so you can then get back to shoveling the shit in the real world with out not wanting to blow out your brains or someone else? Also this

...

>Implying

Back in the day you used to poke fun at things like that. Take Bugs Bunny or Corporal Klinger Now instead of laughing at a joke we see as everyone being a faggot. It was really a better time back then.

That's fair actually. Have you ever read the Wheel of Time? I got into fantasy literature for the exact same reasons

>I can only imagine the mental gymnastics required to delude yourself into believing this. Is there no other TV that you've found that has all this criteria but isn't designed for kids and doesn't require you to dress up like a pony and fuck homemade plushie toy flashlights?
None at all, actually, but it's good that you're able to use your imagination. We value that in this fandom :)
As to other shows, Rick and Morty for one, but the issue here isn't my tastes but rather your utter rejection of the opinion that the show might be of value due solely to your perception of the target audience. Answer me this, what is the target audience of super hero comic books? How about super hero cartoons? Super hero movies? The older a particular content becomes the older it's original target audience becomes, until eventually those who enjoyed said content as a child are in a position to bring that content back through the lens of the present. This is what happened with MLP; the original show (meaning the original generations of the show) was mindless trash to be generous, but it was saved by a passionate creator who wanted to bring it back and make it more than it'd ever been. The fact that you are objecting to its validity as entertainment is evidence positive that she succeed.
Also, famanon so my plushis would fuck me if that was my thing.

I gathered "nor/mlp/eople" hate bronies more than anything. They differ stark between horsefucker and non-Sup Forums MLP fans.
