You are contradicting yourself, by that logic you should get smarter everytime you take the test. Following your train of thought: If you score higher (even if its by trial and error) you still become smarter.
Also IQ tests do not measure all areas of your brain, you may be knowledgeable in many things and these wouldnt affect your score because of the way things are tested. It also doesn't measure your cunning.
