Even if they pick it up that doesn't mean much. Ships have a whole bunch of moving parts, the helmsman, the lookouts, the engineers actually pulling levers in the engine room, the operations personnel looking at radars, the JOOW, the OOD, and the CONN, the Nav team, along with the CO, XO, Navigator. All of these people work together to make the ship go. Lets not forget all of this is also happening on the other ship too combined with the fact the middle east and southeast asia don't follow the rules much.
