this was later compounded with the requirement that a tribe must recognize your ancestry and the Cherokee are known to be moderately strict, meaning you have basically four generations to prove it or none of your family can ever claim ancestry. they also ask that you "support" the community usually a charge of $2000 and that you maintain a high degree of affluence. s these measures were established to prevent wastefulness.

Oneida nation is located next to the football tourism mecca of Green Bay Wisconsin, so they have a rather lucrative economy, quality infrastructure, and top of the line medical assistance (wife and daughter get the full package, medical, optical, dental). I used to date a Blackfoot and I like many natives. Issue is that a good chunk of them have a chip on their shoulder and many of the best quality indians were wiped out from disease and war. Many of the ones that remained are cowardly rat indians that surrendered and have no dignity.
If you are an indian I highly recommend you avoid white bread and soda. The indians I know who eat a paleo diet look way healthier and smarter. I really think the indians are biologically destroyed by white man food.
