Any military historians on here?

Out of frustration of todays world I am often wondering why did Germany not mobilize all of Europe into the army to fight The Soviets and the Anglos?
I know there were many volunteers amongst occupied countries by why not make every single European man above the age of 16 enlist in the German army and every European woman help build arms?
They would have had endless manpower and arms.

Because things aren't ideal. Things like that have add extra expenses, you need to pay more people to train, more people to fight, more people to work, more people to own the factories, so forth, so forth.

You can't just work on slave labor.

They did though, as much as they could. The entire time they dealt with communist partisans. The problem being that communism was about to swallow Europe at the turn of the century. It was like a cancer with cells everywhere. In the end, they failed to protect the Reich, but their resistance utterly drained the communist movement; they sacrificed themselves to halt the spread of communism. Later generations will regard them gratefully for that sacrifice.

It's also not so easy to convince someone they had previously been fighting on the wrong side and they must now fight for your cause, which they had been brainwashed to hate for the past few years.

They couldn't rely on the populations of the occupied countries to fight for them because most of them, believe it or not, didn't like the Germans invading and controlling their countries. So they wouldn't have 'mobilised' to help fight us or the Russians, as most of them were waiting for us to come and save them from being occupied.

Yes, there were people who collaborated and also volunteered to fight in the armed forces, including the SS, but they weren't the majority by a huge margin.

But given what was at stake and how the war was going, given that Hitler knew already in '42 about the truly massive Bolsjewik army (Mannerheim recording) why did he and the Germans not FORCE the EUROPEAN mainland to fight for their cause and for Europe. Many Russians did not want to fight either but Stalin said to every forcibly enlisted 'take one step back and we will shoot you'. There must be some kind of military reason why the Germans did not do this, was is the lack of fuel perhaps?

soviets didn't have necceseraly bad leadership (zhukov) but their men were poorly trained and they couldnt respond fast enough to the blitzkrieg by the germans

Still does not answer the massive numbers they were able to mobilize compared to the Germans who had the whole of Europe and their disposal. Hell, Far east Russian Mongolian hordes who had nothing to do with Europe were forced by Stalin to die for it

They could tho, but more than 2/3 of Soviet military was on Far East and in Siberia. Stalin was too affraid of Japan invasion, but when spies told him that japs are too busy with chinks, he threw 1mil reinforcment from Siberia at Moscow and pushed front back. 5-6 December 1941, google moscow counteroffensive .

By soviet mobilization laws (btw current russian laws are the same) during war time in first wave of mobilization all healthy men (category A, literally spetsnaz-tier Chads) in age 18-45 have to go to nearest military commisariat to enlist.
I think right now ~70% of male population spent at least 1 year in army, so if SHTF they can mobilize ~6mil Chads in first week, and then ~15mil betas in first month.

The Russians took 20 million army deaths and still had enough men to completely engulf Berlin in 1945. But surely all the occupied European countries had a bigger potential manpower and industrial power than Russia. Yet 100.000 were all that was left to defend Berlin after the Germans lost 'only' 5 million soldiers or so (large part of them after the war was over in the American camps).

The Germans should have forcibly mobilized entire fucking Europe. It would have been justified.

In other words, if Hitler had decided to forcibly mobilize every country under German rule he would have had around 335 million people under his disposal. Given that he was also fighting the Anglos I dont see why he at least did not consider this.

Out that 20mil casualties "only" 7mil was actual military casualties. The rest - civs who died in occupation zones because of starvation, deseases and bombings.
Btw about mobilization - all population who cant fight (children and women) went to military factories and other war supporting stuff. Basically whole country turned into one giant war machine.
There was a lot of volounteers who fought not for commies, but for land. Actually nobody gave a single fuck about ideology. My great granpa was anti-commie, but he still fought in red army. And because of that he earned "Order of Glory" instead of "Hero of USSR" status.

And even without the pulling men out of occupied countries, it seem the Russian mobilization of at least 30 million out of a population of 170 million was far more effective than that of the Germans (around 7 million out of 90 million?)

Hitler was wary of arming some of the peoples he had just conquered. This explains why not until the very end he allowed Vlasov's "Russian Liberation Army" to form (2 1/2 years after Vlasov had first offered this to Germany).

It was maily the SS behind the idea of training and arming ethnicities under occupation - they had no qualms doing what was illegal for the Wehrmacht according to int. law. Unfortunately, many of those ethnicities proved to be undisciplined. E.g. troops from the Caucasus region were notorious for livening it up by shooting into the air just before an attack - hereby giving away all element of surprise - as well as wasting precious ammunition. Or the Indian troops stationed in France which had to be dissolved after they had raped too many French women.

Some people "died" twice, some didnt have any documents. Lots of kids lied about their age to get into fight. And remember that there was no PCs and databases, and some archives may get burned, especially in frontline cities.

user they kinda sort of did, but it didn't work cause a lot of the countries they occupied didn't like their policies towards them (aka Slavs)

They treated Ukrainians like shit, Ukrainians at first regarded the Germans as liberating force, but that changed pretty quick.
