I believe American politics have been carefully constructed where right-wing politics is mostly about economics (that the rich elites benefit from) and left-wing politics is mostly about identity bullshit that makes the left-wing voters care more about identity issues than fighting for a left-wing economy. true but they also took the unions and turned them into super unions to manage them such as unite in the uk.
when they are massive and need everyone's vote to strike they are not effective in representation but they have a bigger voice with a larger strike. this was a massive mistake because grievances within one industry are relevant that industry and not necessarily of related industries.
