If you are a Presbyterian, your religion was founded by John Knox in Scotland in the year 1560

>If you are a Protestant, your religion was an offshoot of the Church of England, founded by Samuel Seabury, in the American colonies in the 17th century.

>If you are a Mormon, Joseph Smith started your religion in Palmyra, New York in 1829.
>If you are a Lutheran, your religion was founded by Martin Luther, an ex-monk of the Roman Catholic Church, in the year 1517.
>If you belong to the Church of England, your religion was founded by King Henry VIII in the year 1534 because the Pope would not grant him a divorce with the right to remarry.

>If you are a Roman Catholic, your church shared the same rich apostolic and doctrinal heritage as the Orthodox Church for the first thousand years of its history. >IF you are an Orthodox Christian, you religion was founded in the year 33 by Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It has not changed since that time. Our Church is now almost 2000 years old. Yeah, ok.

Your church was founded by Emperor Constantine

Pure ideology. Catholics say the exact opposite.

Peter is the Rock, Rome is the Church

>cyka blyat XDDD

It only changed with every single council and first of all with the writings of the Gospels.

Did Jesus write anything down? No.. Did any apostle write anything down? No.. it was just random guys claiming to have known or been friends to apostles, disciples of them and offer your their version of the story - each gospel with a different elements and approaches ( later on reworked by the official Church Co. to be a more cohesive text ).

Cult Jesus created in its essence died with first Christians that he personally teached as none of them wrote anything down, probably just because most of them minded their lives just like before he died.

For what it's worth, John Wesley was consecrated a Bishop by Erasmus of Arcadia.

So technically, you could make a roundabout argument about apostolic succession, despite a third of the UMC being full of homo-loving progressive libertines.

Constantine was cooler than any of the other dipshits in that list, so even then it wins

no your sandnigger religion is FROM THE MIDDLE EAST all the things you mentioned right now are untrue Christianity is sandnigger, NOT EUROPEAN

>Cult Jesus created in its essence died with first Christians that he personally teached as none of them wrote anything down, probably just because most of them minded their lives just like before he died.
I don't know how you can 'know' none of them were written by disciples. Even if they weren't, the Gospels came within the disciples' lifetimes; they could have been interviewed, so to speak.

honestly OP good on you for posting this.
really crucial information thats overlooked.

How many goats have you fucked today, Cletus?

Only Protestants could have invented America.

The average life expectancy was around 30 to 35 years for the times we talk about, most of Jesus disciples were adults.

Anyway it's a bullshit like all religions and I should not invest anymore of my time with this shit.

>being a denominational faggot

>orthodox fags believe this

kek

>Protestants are so ashamed of being Protestant that they now call themselves "non-denominational"

Some people lived to old age though.

You missed the original one that was Jewish-Christian.
Constantine was a traitor of Rome.

How could you possibly see America as a positive influence?

Stop worshipping idols

Peter is the Rock. It was literally today's Gospel reading. Super hanc petram aedificabo ecclesiam meam.

Any divergence from Rome is divergence from the one, true, holy, catholic and apostolic church. Come home, brother. Pax vobiscum.

Constantine really was great desu

>Arians and Catholics are fighting in the streets over doctrine, creating massive divisions in the empire
>Constantine invites their leaders to a council so that they can talk to each other and sort out their differences
>the Catholic position wins out, and the precedent for sorting out differences through dialogue and debate instead of violence is set

how do people go around having individual church buildings in the us? are there different processes for the different denominations? for example, is it easier to start a nazarene church than a methodist church?

Greatest country in the world.

the corner stone of your faith has been altered (Holy Bible) thus the faith is altered.

Rome was anti christ, the jews forced their shit there and finally broke the people.

You're all traitors of Rome.

The story of Jesus as recorded in the gospels is about what happens when the Spirit of God appears on Earth, and is resisted by the worldly powers of organized religion and the state. Anytime the message of Christ becomes co-opted by religious doctrine or state power, it has already abandoned its roots, since at its core the Jesus story is about how those very powers will stop at nothing to subvert and destroy the Christ. Though of course they can never succeed - to those with eyes to see and ears to hear, the King remains enthroned.

Christ shows us that self-giving sacrificial love is the true power in the universe, not the top-down tyrannical brute strength of Caesar. Christ's earliest followers proclaimed "Jesus is Lord!", rather than "Caesar is Lord!" which regions conquered by the empire were required to say. The implied subversive question - who is making a better Kingdom? Caesar who puts people on crosses, or Christ who bears the cross in love for all? Caesar who dominates and kills all who oppose with brute strength, or God who raised Christ from the dead?

Why is self-giving sacrifice the ultimate power? Picture water. In some senses, the most submissive substance imaginable. It will flow through your fingers, fit any container you put it in. Yet nothing can compete with it for domination of the planet - it covers 70% of Earth's surface. It uses its power not to dominate like a tyrant, but to quietly nourish each and every thing that lives. This is built into Creation as a prefiguration of Christ. The blood of Christ is spiritual water, and those who drink of it will never thirst again.

>Thinks the priesthood authority survived over 2000 or "Orthodox" apostasy.

The authority to act in the name of God was restored by God through Joseph Smith. The Mormon church actually matches up with what is taught in the Bible, unlike your other pathetic "Christian" churches that can't even get the doctrine right.

The Jews were irrelevant in that period of history because they were BTFO too hard after the failed Bar Kochba revolt

Join us on /christian/ imageboard and discord, all Christian denominations that follow the Nicene Creed are welcome. Links are in pic related. God bless!

Every nation needs its own doctrine because every nation has its own values. I don't know why people hold a corrupted religion of some Zionist kike in the Middle East with such high regard.

The church of the Ladder Day Saints is the ideal American religion because it best represents our tradtional values as Americans. Unlike the (((Catholic Church))) it emphasizes kin, tradation, and personal responsibility above all. You build your community in your individual church rather than faceless kikes in the Vatican.

Let the Europoors keep their corrupted Jewish religions and we'll take the only religion that actually represents the white man.

I bet you love Varg huh

>orthodox pretending to not be schismatic

LOL

You under estimate them, we're just lucky most of them fell for their own tricks.

But one thing that I definitely don't underestimate is your intelligence

Fucking this. Joseph Smith is the prophet that represents the modern white man.
