I few years ago I read Thomas Chittum's book, Civil War 2. He predicted in the mid 90s that demographic change would destabilize the United States. Pic related are the four outcomes he foresaw. Chittum is a military man who served in Vietnam as a soldier and in the Balkan wars as a mercenary. He saw the disintegration of Yugoslavia firsthand. So I don't think what he said can be taken lightly.
I think the populations are too large to stop at this point. Just 1% of the population = 3.23 million people. Even if the bulk of the population is non-violent and neutral, a small percentage fighting against an equally small percentage can cause a huge amount of damage which will pull in more and more outside individuals. Illegal immigrants alone make up 4% of the population currently residing within the United States.
We might not get to that point. Chittum's prediction was that California will be majority Mexican by 2024. He predicted that they would then try to seize the state by force because they would have the numbers to do so and because they could no longer tolerate the meager offerings given to them by white leftists in positions of power. Once they have a complete majority they will drop all pretense at democracy and seize power directly, supported by an invasion of the Mexican Army.
