We, as an exporting nation, need Europe to be as stable as possible in order to sell our products. Letting even one country go fully bankrupt could break the EU beyond repair, which is not something worth striving for if we want to maintain our position as the biggest exporter in the world.

The majority of our exports go to countries outside the EU.
And more importantly, we import the exact amount of goods and services from the Eurozone that we export, meaning ALL of our trade surplus is with countries which don't have the Euro.

Quite honestly, I am 100 percent behind a new EU which just consists of Germany and France from the start. If countries want to join they will have to actually commit to EU principles and rule of law. This would be a true European federation and would not include shittier countries like Bulgaria.
