I have no problem with religious marriage being straight only and churches being able to refuse gay wedding ceremonies but being legally allowed to be married has a lot of benefits so don't be surprised when gays agitate for it more and more. We have the same problem for straight couples who just "convivono". Of course most people are going to be fine with it, there is nothing wrong with being able to give your partner what you accumulated for your family during your life.
