My theory is that the alarms for civil war via social media monitoring started ringing, warning of impending war.

They could connect MSM to inciting it. They have a legal case against the MSM. If they continue it they will be destroyed.

I think that antifa was infiltrated to collect information on those who are funding it to fuck them hard. With the connection to civil war and everything they are prepared for a legal case to shut them the fuck down.

Even decades ago there were the AP bullet points that dictated what the news of the day would be. The big media shows and publications act on these and thousands of other media outlets conform.

So I think this is a concerted effort. It may not be explicitly organized, just as long as CNN, MSNBC, a few politicians and some publications like NYTimes move on something everyone else in the MSM (except a few on FOX) follow suit.

So that begs the question, why turn on Antifa now? I think it's pretty obvious. Antifa has become toxic and even the left has seen it must be put in check. It is a public relations nightmare that the Mainstream Media have ignored from the first organized protest against Trump.

This would be correct. If you want to fuck such plans over, encourage people with antifas to stand down. They can't stand being the villain mentally. It's because a Washington Post reporter was attacked, specifically a photographer.

It was all caught on film and their own people were involved, which meant they were forced to report what actually happened. It looked especially bad as police did what they usually do, which is drag off the victim as though he was a criminal.

This is why the media is now against Antifa.

You have to keep in mind that most of the reporting on left wing violence came about because of youtube videos and periscopes done by right wingers, which is media that liberals do their best to ignore.
