As a center-left political professional (campaigns and stuff don't get too excited) I've gotta say that I'm pretty suspicious that antifa may be a false-flag operation, or certainly must have began as one.
The group basically did not even exist before Trump's campaign. There have been plenty of way more facist and horrible candidates before, but Trump was somehow the galvanizing force? I don't think so. More and more I'm starting to realize that antifa is likely a false-specter, a group propped up and funded by Trump and his mob, and encouraged to be violent.
Why? So that Trump gets to play both sides. Because Trump is smart. Smarter than anyone gave him credit for, smarter than even his most die-hard fans actually realize. Trump really *has* been playing 4D chess this entire time. He grabbed the entire nation's attention by the pussy over the course of several decades in the public eye, and then leveraged that attention into free coverage for his entire campaign, then somehow managed to turn that free coverage into another galvanizing issue for his core fans, both increasing the overall coverage and making him stronger. Trump has dominated the news cycle like no president in history, and if you accept that no negative coverage is bad coverage since he won an election on it, then you can conclude that the additional coverage is a desired effect of Trumps purposeful actions.
