/Jobs/ Thread

Can we have a Sup Forums jobs thread? What are some jobs you guys do? What the fuck should I do?

I'm a programmer ;^)

I am a the head Chef at Wendys.

One of my favorite jobs was basically general contracting. Lot of bros in that field who are more than happy to meet somebody who isn't a drunk or a flake and who likes a job well done.

Only girls get jobs now, silly.

I also want a job
Charismatic

I like two things, cars and computers. Automotive knowledge sustains me for now, however I would really an IT/Systems administration job.

I make sure computers work for scientists including the hardware that runs their instruments

Trade school? It's all about networking. I hate networking.

Fisheries Scientist

Director of Technology for a bank

Connor could still pull it back

There are several automotive sales crm companies that are likely to have IT positions available. Check with them.

NEET.

Got laid off from oil industry a couple months ago then Harvey blew my shit away.

I am not sure I would do well in grade school
Too upper class sounding
I would rather use my mind

no job, on EI. i sit at home all day getting stoned and playing vidya and reading advanced mathematics textbooks. currently reading about neural networks, more popularly known as deep learning. i have a degree in math. every other day or few days, i grab a six pack and get do all three.

When I was working trades under the table, I learned that the successful people were a lot more clever than you would think. And they also knew how to find other clever people to try to hire, since they'd been around the block and had to deal with niggers and drugheads and the rest of the bullshit.

I'm a web developer at a marketing company. I build custom WordPress sites all day. It's actually a decent job (pay isn't that great but I work remote and everyone is great) but I'm tired of making other people money. I'm trying to start up my own agency on the side. It's hard work but I'm expecting to be making enough money by may of next year for my wife to quit her job and be a full time mom/author.

High School history teacher. Not great.

Digital Head Coach

Went to uni and got a B.B.A., couldn't find anything right away, so got a labor job, but got fired because I took too much time off for interviews. Still can't find a job relative to my degree and can't get another general labor job.

tl;dr white guy with a 3.9 gpa can't get a job

>currently reading about neural networks, more popularly known as deep learning.

I got bored being a hurricane refugee with shit internet and starting writing another program implementing simple neural nets in a little evo simulator.

Interesting stuff.

>almost 30
>live with mom
>held one job for a year four years ago
>no college education
wut do

factory or trades. i make pretty good factory money. secure job, conservative crowd.

I dropship cheap useless shit from china to normies by advertising on kikebook. It pay's well, especially when you find something that converts well and scale it hard. I target women and minorities because they're terrible with their money.

Keep it up.

Accountant fresh out of college. Working to get my CPA now.

Pharmacy technician at a chain retail pharmacy. Decent pay but fucking hate the job. Not enough staff to meet demand, get screamed at by baby boomer generation, no time for friends or social life. This is all relative to your area though

Go to your local water and wastewater treatment plants, ask for a tour and tell them you are interested in getting a job in that field. They will send you where you need to go. Best job ever

That's a good point
Can you give Me an idea of good trade areas to research?

Line cook/kitchen manager at multiple restaurants

Used to be a 300k making PhD Surgeon, but got a better job offer at the Wendy's as head chef.
Lovin life ever since lads

Trying to become an atmospheric scientist. If you guys ever here about a groundbreaking long range forecasting model in the next 10 years of so just remember it was developed by someone who posts nigger memes.

Psychologist.

I deliver pizza when I'm not in class at my University.

I just drive around all day smoking cigs, making people really happy when I show up.

If I smell weed at the door, I ask if I can smoke a bowl and normally I chill with them for a bit.

Delivering to parties, I usually get a few shots in before I hit the road again.

Once I even got to do blow with some customers.

Oh, and I make 25/hr since I'm in a fairly pop. dense city

I am a software engineer, make 6 figures but it is expensive where I live and it's really not that much money. I can't afford a house here. Regularly contemplate suicide and feel my life has no purpose.

>Tfw work in candy factory, but it's necco
i just want my god damn chocolate river

Not really. What I was doing at the time was acting as a go-between to hire contractors.

Part of the time I had to do it myself. I work in high tech but I have tools and I know how to do shit and I like getting my hands dirty. The job offers started coming in when they showed up on the job and I was already there just fixing shit properly with my own hands.

learn a skill or trade if you don't have a path through nepotism or intelligence for STEM degrees. Network, Network, Network, NETWORK wherever you do end up. Knowing people pays off so much.

Trades: Electrician, Sheet Metal Worker, Welder, ect.. for example. Tech school won't leave gorillions of dollars in debt and is generally quicker to accomplish. Hard work pays off more than it doesn't. Once you get a job don't waste your money on frivolous shit.

>that
>fucking
>beard

my dad works at nintendo

>smoke a bowl
OK for driving
>few shots
Bad for driving
>blow
very good for driving

how do I find such groups and apply? I see lots of "painting" contractors where I am in Central America and they take a 3 day job and make it a 3 month job just because they think it provides them job security and a paycheck for 3 months, when asked wouldn't it be better to get it done in 3 days and then get another job next week that you can do in 3 days in and 3 months you'll have shit tons of saved cash?! they just stare at me blank, taxi drivers have similar tendencies where they'll make $40 bucks they need for the day and stop working.

>necco
Those are the worst. I feel bad for you.

Electrician, HVAC, or welder. You make good money, have job security, and can move to anywhere in the country and be sure to find a job. Not mention it's men you'll be working with and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone working in any if these trades who is an SJW. Take the tradepill fellow Sup Forumsack.

ignore meme flag. Im ashamed of myself.

SERIOUSLY, NETWORK, MEET PEOPLE, GET IN GOOD WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE WHEREVER YOU DO GO FOR EDUCATION OR WORK, THIS WILL HELP YOU SO MUCH.

Fuck you necco's are awesome

Water/wastewater license is as valuable as a college degree. Many places will pay for you to get it.

Put on your flag, first of all. Do you have something like craigslist?

>not using convolutional neural network

What languages do you use? Dallas tx area has six figure job openings for .net and some front end crap like angular/react.

Housing is cheap if you get about 30 miles out of the city.

> computer scientists especially are so fucking stupid when it comes to computers
how?

THIS as well as

being a pornstar is harder than most realize! How sure are you of yourself that you can get hard and stay hard on command? what about in front of a camera? what about in front of 3 dudes looking at you and judging you? It's easier to be a porn star if you a female.

maybe if youre a gi in 1944

It's all the fish jizz

D-Dr. Peterson?

sorry it's mandatory, momma
tits or gtfo, please
mmmm i bet youre a milf

Congrats, you get it man.

Mind sharing who you use to dropship?

Because they're in academia and can't think straight. They regularly seek me out because they don't even know how computers work anymore.

I hate this field. That's not the only thing they don't understand. God fucking damn it. Blind leading the blind.

I sell LM6000 gas turbine power plant packages. That's entire base load or peaker plants from the ground up. Also spare parts and maintenance work. That being said, all i do when not meeting with clients is staring at Outlook and Excel.

Planetary scientist - I have to go to Germany once a month though & I fucking hate it. The place is a shit hole & full of Mohammed's. Gotta suck it up though I love my job plus people are always impressed when I tell them what I do, especially women.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but what do you mean by "network?"

damn, didn't see
>for my wife
but if you have a pic of her tits handy...
gl with the career

Oh really? What other candy has clove flavored wafers?

Must be. That thing is stout. Just looking at it made my voice drop an octave

you start your own. Get a few buddies together and buy some painting gear and get going. It doesn't cost much to start

get a $15 dollar loan for kneepads and suck dick for $30 a pop. practice deepthroating until you're good enough to get a guy to cum in 5 minutes everytime. work full time and you'll be a millionaire in under a year. easy

Senior product manager at a software company.
I recommend it, pay is 120k in Austin, TX.
Get a EE or CE or CS degree and then get a business analyst job and work on up.

helps me stay in tune with the organisms

Is business good with all these solar morons?

Pediatrician + pediatric infectogist

I like my field of worm

ever considered pediatric gynecology?

Kek, nice

I do HVAC. I hate it in all honesty. But I'm good at it, and it pays the bills. So I continue to do it.

...

I write software.

We're going strong in Australia and Thailand. Nothing major going on in the US at the moment but got a couple HSRS and overhauls coming up in October. My company is Japan-based though so we're not very competitive in the states due to shipping costs.

I work as a courtesy clerk for Albertsons but I'm finally manning up to start working on my dream job, wildlife camera man.

Develop some skill/learn a trade. There is no such thing as a perfect job. Every one has some form of bullshit or another, but suck that up and get your experience, and if you're smart go out on your own.

Is HVAC hard to get in to? I had a fun time helping some HVAC guys figuring out their shit, what I really want to do is be a linesman, but I don't know if it's worth the effort anymore.

Six figures is easy tier for most dev jobs in Dallas, so long as you work for a decently big corp and not some shitty agency.

I work for a Fortune 100, live in the mid cities area and still have money to throw away. COL is super low here.

What kind?

>hat are some jobs you guys do?
Chem Eng, I write software to help design fluidized bed reactors, it's a autistic as hell job, but I wouldn't give it up for the world. These days I would suggest starting with a trade job, other well paying jobs are few and far between (in Canada anyway)

Do you know any kids who go on Sup Forums?

Information Systems. Basically maintain the software for a network of local hospitals. I am but one of many cogs that operate a bigger cog.

Just depends on the need for it in your area. I kind of fell into it. I saw an ad in the newspaper for a company that was hiring with no experience needed. So I applied. 4 years later, I've got my journeyman license, my own helper, thousands of dollars invested in tools, and 55+ hours a week in work.

It's not bad money. But be prepared to sacrifice your social life on the altar of overtime.

Nurse
A lot of my co-workers are pretty conservative but I do live in a country city.
Pay is fucking great if you don't mind being on call. I signed up to be priority call which means I get more work than anyone else but I do have to be willing to answer a call and be in at work within 30 minutes.

meet, talk, get to know, and form relationships with people at your place of education and/or work. Your fellow students, co-workers, teachers, bosses. You create a network of contacts who can connect you to new, different, and otherwise inaccessible opportunities. It's how most people get promoted, find great jobs, and so on. Not the end all be all, but it really does help ALOT.

All it means is force yourself to be sociable in professional settings(and ideally anywhere you go). You never know who can help connect you to something you'll love.

For example, say you and your teacher build up a report, he recommends you for say an electricians job somewhere he knows about. When that employer looks through a fat stack of applications, he'll say "oh my buddy Professor Joe Blow at Po Dunk Tech College was telling me about this kid, might as well give him a chance." I'm pretty sure this is how I got my job. Even if it isn't directly connected like, People in positions of power (boss/teacher) can recommend good/bad places to work, or places that fly under the radar. Life is much easier when you have help, user.

read and learn astrology and astronomy and read your natal charts, it'll give you some directions on where you should focus

is that an actual thing?

Being a wage cuck is literally the most soul crushing experience in the modern era.

Carousel operator.

>do juveniles have vagins?

...

Homie, I went from an analyst job to a trades job and had to use my mind 10x as much. There is a decent amount of mindless shit, but that's literally any job. Do you have any clue how much time chemists spend waiting on reactions to complete or programmers waiting on code to compile, engineers running simulations, -- or worse yet, writing up some retarded report that no one uses but everyone insists must be done?
