Fentanyl Overtakes Heroin in Deaths

>The problem will just solve itself

No it won't.

I overdosed on Fentanyl last year. Had been stupidly trying to use it to replace the sedatives I was otherwise addicted to and to reduce low back pain.

Medical marijuana has been a gift to me throughout this process and I am nearer to sober with it than I have been since I was a teenager.

More kids will always be getting into drugs so doing nothing, fixes nothing.

There are no actual good arguments against wider distribution of Narcan, clean needles, and legalizing recreational or widely available medical marijuana at this point. The toxicity is due to the dose. With pills, you are getting it pre-measured. Illicit status just makes the dose a user takes much more variable and with opiates that dose can be very small.

these aren't overdoses. these are poisonings. someone is poisoning people.

>that fent comes from china

>I overdosed on Fentanyl last year.

I'd honestly say you underdosed if you're posting here.

You cannot be older than 25.

Lmao drug abusing whites
>mfw

In a drug addict, kratom saved my life. People can talk shit all they want, I'm a single dad, working his ass off because of kratom and marijuana

>Crack kills black people for 30 years
>shrugs
>White people turn to deadly drugs to escape the shithole Conservatism has turned rural America into
>Guise we gotta do something!!!
fuck off

OP can't even OD right. What a loser

Do us all a favor and overdose 1 more time

>Bu but I was addicted to opiates waaahhhhh

God you sound like a woman

this

fentanyl is eugenics

I guess you missed out on the meth problem

I wasn't trying to OD. In fact I was trying not to. Previously I had been using an pulse oximeter to make sure I didn't and I went over to a family member's house and didn't bring it. It was a poor decision, but not an intentional overdose.

Payback for extraditing chapo

I'll take that as a compliment.

>twenty-something complaining about back pain
Of course you take drugs, people are laughing at you. But you take them because you're poor. I use a hot compress to deal with back pain which I am 100% sure is much worse than your addict pangs.

Well you are an annoying young shitposter, but one thing is right. Fentanyl is very cheap and that's a big part of this.

>cocaine
>meth
>killing people
Bullshit. Not in those numbers. Makes me think the whole graph is skewed.

Then again, Your graph says "involved in" meaning the drug listed does not have to be the cause of the OD, just be in the blood toxicological report at autopsy. Misleading.

Why don't you have a pain management doctor if you're so fucked up? I see a specialist who treats nothing but chronic pain. I get fentanyl tape. Its amazing stuff.

Well, my pain has gone down significantly since then and I never really liked opiates. I wasn't using them all the time. I bought one low-dose fentanyl product online, liked it, and bought another higher dose one, partially because it was so cheap, overdosed once, and haven't used anything but cannabis since.

I wish you had died, you druggy retard.

>I do toxic drugs
>Wait, this affected me negatively?!?

Well I'm not here just to be a cunt. Ketamine was the only drug that helped me. When I was coming off oxys I used ondansetron I bought from a nurse, could even hold food down. Also pot and booze for the interim times where I don't have access to "real medicine" but let's be honest you can't live like that.

Shame you didn't kill yourself, degenerate.
There's no room for your kind here.

Actually I have idea, why dont we start killing druggy retards instead of trying to save or rehab them?

Do you honestly think these pieces of shit will ever contribute anything to society? No. Fuck em.

Bullets for druggies.

The only way you can OD on the tape is if you put a long piece on the soles of your feet, or palms of your hands. I guess you could eat it maybe, I dunno. Works great if you use it correctly.

tape?

So you were illegally and recreationally taking highly addictive drugs you bought online from China without a prescription?

I really don't see how you could possibly be offended that people in this thread started making fun of you and saying you had it coming...

>What is a Duerte

Not from China.

it's not a good thing. we are under attack. opiates target specific types of people.

Survival of the fittest, the weak should fear the strong :^)

Seriously though. It's the utimate blue pill that people turn to when they've had too many red pills and the chinese are happy to give it to them.

We need those people who have OD'd on redpills alive. They make great OPs.

ahhhh yaaaa

Who cares let the junkies die. Population control, let the cancer die. No sympathy at all. Losers.

Transdermal tape.

ISIS actually looked into creating dirty bombs with fentanyl, but realized that how high the street value was so they decided to just sell it for additional funding.

Different from a patch?

>you were illegally
Laws mean nothing nowadays. Any "drug" can be banned on a whim here in the US without any votes or voter approval.

>you were recreationally
And? So what if he was? Recreation is why we do lots of dangerous things. Bungee jumping, surfing, skydiving, etc. Anything good has risk. The only problem with drug is simply that the government forces taxpayers to pay for mistakes.

>taking highly addictive drugs
Like nicotine? Ethanol? Caffeine? Addictive potential means little. How many people here would lose their nut if Sup Forums and all the other Sup Forumss were shut down? Many of you would go so insane you'd start invading other boards. Talk about addiction.

If they were produced domestically for medical use, it shouldn't have been that hard to get the dose right.

Let me redact my statement to:
You bought drugs online that were originally produced in China or an a equally shitty drug lab somewhere?

Anyway, there's no stopping Fentanyl ODs. It's cheap, it's potent, and nearly impossible to stop getting in to your country. Bought wholesale, an addict would only need about $5 USD for a day's worth. At this point, anyone that takes illicit painkillers has it coming, and there's very little the rest of society can do to stop you. I only feel bad for people whose doctor gave them it.

No I meant I bought from a domestic importer, not directly from the Chinese. It was a premixed nasal solution.

why would anyone ever do downers. Stims are where it's at

>Laws mean nothing nowadays.
I'm pro drug legalization. My point was, that OP bought drugs he knew where highly addictive and took them anyway, recreationally. It would be a different story he didn't know what he was taking.

>And? So what if he was? Recreation is why we do lots of dangerous things.
False equivalence. None of the above things, or common drugs are as dangerous as Fentantyl. If you jumped out of a plane without a parachute, you shouldn't expect other people to say 'it's not your fault'.

>The government forces taxpayers to pay for mistakes.
Yes, that's even more irresponsible for you to use them to begin with. Willfully hurting taxpayers.

>Like nicotine? Ethanol? Caffeine?
Another false equivalence, with the exception of Ethanol, which is only highly addictive to a minority of the population. Sup Forums isn't physically addictive, and most of the above things are not as dangerous, so, don't take something that is both addictive and dangerous, obviously.

isn't this just retards removing themselves from the gene pool? who cares

Nothing felt better than Ambien, as crazy as that sounds. Even Fentanyl. When I got out of the hospital after overdosing I had some in the mail but I was off to rehab a few days later.

It wasn't the crack. It was blacks selling and, doing crack that killed blacks.

I hope you do something I don't like so I can fucking kill you too. Cunt

Because being in pain sucks, I don't want to be in pain all the time.

I know right. It's like people haven't done any independent research. Legally of course.

Be mindful you're talking with a chemist with a pharmacology background.

Would you like to refresh your post here or are you gonna stick with it?
I only have one niggle with the post, but it is a HUGE one, so I'm giving you a chance here.

Iran

Contra

>sell fentanyl weed in Detroit
>move to the next shithole city
>repeat
>2020 Ronald Reagan like landslide

Ok way to deflect my point. Overdoses on crack cocaine is extremely rare. Most of the deaths related are from black on black crime. Low iq people should stay far away from drugs.

>drug addicts

who cares?

the problem solves itself: inevitable death of addicts.

>death rate increasing beyond car accidents, gun violence

>solving itself

choose 1 (one)

the only people dying are degenerates

who cares?

How do you know that? Plenty of people have abused drugs, gotten sober, and gone on to do great things with their lives.

...

It's probably the same thing, but the tape comes in perforated strips of 10 doses. Like LSD!

>doing fentanyl

you'd have to be a literal idiot

the leaf thinks that a chinese chemical weapons attack is somehow good because some people thought they could get high off it.

nowhere near the percentage who have never abused drugs and gone on to do great things with their lives.

The idea is that when the problem
>Solves itself
Is that these people, and said culture/genes, dies off. Of course empathic medical practices is stopping this... But given that you'd rather make softer options easier accessible out of self interest(ignoring it makes the lifestyle more accessible to more and more people) I'd say society is well on it's way to becoming more self centred... The guise being that stripping funding from health services will be the greater good so money can be given to the largest voting block.

>everyone who makes poor choices deserves to die

how much of pol thinks in such a black-and-white autistic fashion?

the canadians are fucked up. they are so hatefilled and bitter.

No, but removing the consequences of ALL bad choices infinitely creates worse consequences. The prisoners dilemma is difficult choice till you realize enough picking the ship jumping option might as well make freedom a prison.

HAW HAW HWITE BOWIES CAHNT COMFETE RIV MAI OPIRATES

Fentanyl is highly resistant to Naloxone, which is used to bring people out of ODs, I've heard of EMTs having to inject Naxolone 9+ times for it to take effect.

Basically ODing on Fentanyl is a death sentence.

I don't care about your appeal to authority nonsense. The fact is, there are psychologically addictive and physically addictive substances. Of the physically addictive substances, some are more addictive than others. It's dependant on how the substance interferes with the dopamine receptors in your brains reward circuit and the physical dependence of your body.

It's a bit more complicated than that. Dopamine agonism is the big driver, but there are others involved as well.
Alcohol is hugely addictive, and not just for certain people. GABAnergic drugs like ethanol are as bad as opioids overall. Not quite as addictive, but far more dangerous(read: potentially LETHAL) in withdrawal.

That was my only gripe with your above post. Never understate the negative effects of booze.
As for me, I agree. Legalize everything, remove the burden from taxpayers, let nature sort the problem out.
