We all know that the crossed "Germanic" seven is the correct way to write that numeral, but what about the number four?

we all know that the crossed "Germanic" seven is the correct way to write that numeral, but what about the number four?

I've just realised I do an "in between" four out of subliminal indecisiveness

Do you even need to ask

the only legit 4

That's a D.

check'd

right is the correct way

I do the right but with the strokes reversed

>IIII
or
>IV

...

only 2 acceptable ways

Who the fuck cares?

Nobody writes the right side with strokes in that order

I use the germanic seven, only so theres no chance of confusion between 1 and sometimes 2 can be confused as a seven.

...

left is right

winrar

it's a seven

Left is correct right can be more easily confused.

that's a 9.

...

Weeab test, without googling, how many strokes is that character?

I did, but I've written it the way on the left-hand side for years since

...

4?

4?

4?

>tfw got wrong on a math test in grade school thanks to this technique
im now a /onelineman/

In hebrew gematria it's a 4.

Vav is 6, check out how it looks like.
Now check the Monster energy drink logo.

>tfw I cross the zero

same lol

...

current digits are the only digits that matter.

Nice digits

That's just common sense.

Shamefuru dispuray. That's the number it represents, not how many strokes (of a brush) it takes it to draw it.

WHEW

I know what you were asking, but how?
Upside down open box shape, one stroke. Bottom of box, one stroke. Two dongs facing opposite directions on the top? one stroke each.
How do they do it?

what

Level 20 weeb here, the correct answer is 5 strokes

this is the only way to write 4.

I think fate is telling you that's a 7, sweetie

yes

Is it left, top+right, two corner pieces, bottom line?

If you don't cross your 7s like that image then you are filth.

looks like み

I learned math in on of the highest IQ countries on Earth (China) and I've never seen 7s written like that until I immigrated to Canada.

fou're

depends on the notation of 1, since people confuse 7 without the strike and 1 in some cases.

You know what really pisses me off? Seeing a 4 like this, which is LITERALLY an upside down 7 with an awkwardly placed line through the bottom.
>license late has no 4 in it
phew

Reminder that if you don't write the letter "z" like this, you're illiterate

Das it mane

ones an uppercase 4 and the other is lowercase

cursive z is best z

That is made so the 4 can be easily distinguished

I used to write my 4s like you see in this sentence but with the flow of hand people mistook them for 9s so in the interest of clear communication I no longer connect the top of the 4

Most people are so stupid they mistake 5 for S even when there is no context for letters. Which is the same reason why the crossed 7 exists in the modern world, clear communication with the flow of the hand

Wait which one is germanic!?

The left or right?

or just し

5

The answer

Reminder that crossing your 7's, Z's, 0's, and lowercase Q's, bending the bottom of your lowercase T's, and writing 4's like is the patrician's handwriting.

Unless we're talking about the face of a clock. Then it's IIII.

>IIII
toothpaste are you high again
