Have you ever thought about special sqads that will be on the front line defending people behind them with shields and batons(if needed). Just like this guy on pic, but in plural.
Some kind of elite with gas masks, steel shields, helmets, body armor(at least agains knifes and stuff), radio and batons\non-lethal guns. With membership list(without payments), kind of hierarchy(private, serge, lieutenant, ect.) to control situation.
Because if police refuse to protect you, than you should protect yourself.
Iwould like to join you and make this type of sqad(It would be a WH ork-themed sqad with boyz, nobz and "WAAAAGH!" or Chaos Space Marines), but unfortunately im 8000km far from the nearest battle field(and at least for 2 years without greencard on my hands), so i decided to tell this idea to you guys.

I live in Oakland and have attended quite a few rallies. Our problem lies in the fact that we are no longer able to wear masks or carry flags or sticks or pepper spray, while the Antifags don't follow the law.
When they come to our rallies, there is so many of them wearing masks that the mayor gives police stand down orders.
We are then left in the position where

> 2. We follow the law. They don't
Our saving grace is that because we do follow the law, when the SWAT comes to break up the melee, they get arrested and we get police escorts.
This is getting old though, and is not sustainable.
