One of things you have to explain to 'elites' is that average is intelligent. You can fool people whose IQ is 85 without much problem, but it gets alot more difficult with people whose IQ is 97, which is average for a First world nation. What happens cognitively is that 'average' people will catch you between two statements, and once you are caught, you can't recover.
Globalism isn't doing shit for the 'average person's economy, and the 'average' voter apparently has picked up on this. Democrats say one thing, the 'average' person experiences something else, he then puts 1+1 together and comes to a conclusion that the Obama recovery was nonexistent for him, and that no amount of repeating the 'same bullshit' will cause him to change his mind. Since Republicans offered a set of new statements, or a strategy, and Democrats doubled down on Obama, the "average" voter simply did the math and decided that Democrats aren't going to help the economy anymore, because they originally believed they would back in 2008.
To become the party of Jobs, Democrats either have to radically transform Globalism into making it functional, or they have to pick a new 'ism' to help sell their cause. Voters haven't experienced Socialism, so in the "average" mind, expect Democrats who are in the party to back Socialism over Globalism, because they've already had experience with Globalism under Obama, and it didn't work for them.
The great and powerful leaders like Alexander the Great, Lincoln, William the Conqueror, etc utilized far more effective strategies to lead people then simply to 'lie behind the masses anonymously.' One of the reasons why I'm so bearish about the NWO is that there is no historical parallel to them being successful.
