That's actually a map of the radio blackout that happened this morning from the xray burst.
The flare should hit us in a few days since it's a plasma burst and takes longer to get here.
Check out spaceweather.com to see if the coronal oval covers where you live. Check it frequently because it changes. Also they don't know exactly how big this flare is yet so info changes all the time.
