When people talk about WW2 it normally starts with Germany invading Poland to take Danzig to protect ethnic Germans who were being massacred by the Polish. If we, for the sake of this discussion, assume that the Polish really were ethnically cleansing Germans, and it was not a false flag, why were the Poles killing the Germans?

Either way, Josef Pilsudski was trying to defrost the relations with Germany because it was the lesser of two evils. Poland had a fresh war with the USSR in memory.
His successor was a complete retard who jumped straight into bed with the frogs and limeys.
Of course, Poland would have effectively become a german puppet state if an alliance had gone through, but I dare say it would be mostly due to international isolation rather than nazi whims.

This is exactly what I began thinking about. I just began thinking, obviously (((they))) didn't want Germany to succeed, so what better way to provoke a war than bait a Nationalist militaristic leader into attacking than killing ethnic Germans and forcing his hand, thus allowing a reason for war.
